About me

Hello! My name is Emma, I am of French- Australian origin, but I grew up on the Gold Coast Australia. I love the beach and talking about movies and art. I also love languages. Learning and teaching languages is very fulfilling and fun for me. I hope to get to know you better!

I have a B2 level in French, and an A2 level in Spanish.

I have worked in Spain teaching English to young children. In Australia I have worked as an English tutor at my university, working with adults and children from a variety of backgrounds as well. I have a degree in International relations. During my studies, I chose all language-based electives. This has taught me how to vary my teaching approach based on a student's linguistic background and learning style.

Emma is an amazing teacher, very fluent conversation classes, learning a lot each class, she also focuses on the mistakes you make so you don't make them again. Emma makes you speak and practice what you learn! Teacher 10 out of 10!

Before I met Emma, I had experienced having lessons with non-native English teachers because I was a bit scared of talking to native English speakers. I was worried about communicating with them and believed that it would be very stressful. If someone has similar thoughts in their mind, I would definitely like to recommend Emma because she is really kind, considerate, and makes you feel comfortable during the lesson. I gained confidence that I could receive English training from a native speaker and believe that I can improve my English significantly. I'm fortunate to have found Emma on Preply.
