About me

My name is Alicia, a Dutch native and full-time traveler who has now finally settled down after marrying a wonderful Korean man.

I have been teaching and translating for the past 6 years from South Korea, the Philippines, and Australia.

I learned English, Korean, and French, so I know what a struggle it is to learn a language properly. And I believe that that is exactly what you will like about me. As I studied, learned, and practiced, I learned how to learn a language in a way that actually gives a proper result.

I have 6 years of experience translating and teaching Dutch and English to those all over the world.

As I studied 10 years of French, 8 years of English and 5 years of Korean, I know very well how to teach in a way that you actually understand and learn and remember.

Alicia is very thorough, she listened to what I need to learn and has tailored the lessons to get my pronunciation better and is constantly challenging me to think dutch! She speaks to me as much as possible in dutch which really helps pick up new words by 'filling in the blanks' on the words i dont understand yet. Alicia is very patient and I'm so thankful I've found a tutor that can be friendly and fun as well as educational. Can't wait to be able to expand further with her as my language grows :) x
