Hey there! My name is René  

I’m a Dutch national, and I’ve been living and working in London the UK, for the past 16 years. I have my own dance school and I LOVE to teach and help people with their personal goals and development, be it in dancing or languages.

Rene is a great tutor. He is patient and helpful and I have enjoyed the sessions, even though I was nervous to start Dutch lessons. I am glad to have found someone who I feel comfortable with and who seems motivated to help me improve my Dutch.

I’m so glad that I started to learn Dutch with René. He is very patient and lessons with him are great. I feel comfortable because there’s no rush and a lot of understanding and correcting if it’s necessary. After a class I always have a smile on my face! And also during it. I really like the Dutch lessons with Rene! It's always funny and interesting. :) He has a book for beginners which helps me a lot to dive in in the Dutch language. Especially the pronunciation is a bit tricky but with his help I'm learning it quite fast. I will definitely continue practicing with him.

It's a lot of fun learning Dutch with René. He creates a safe environment to speak and to make mistakes. He corrects me and suggests better ways to phrase it casually throughout our conversation. We talk about many topics and let the conversation flow so it feels casual and organic, rather than a class. He's also very flexible if I need to reschedule a class. Would recommend :)

My first lesson with René was a really positive experience that encouraged me to continue learning Dutch. He understood my needs and prepared a class that specifically took these into consideration. I felt very comfortable as he was incredibly patient and understanding with me whenever I struggled with something. I look forward to doing more classes with him! Dankjewel! 🇳🇱
