About me
Hello students! My name is Humera! I am from South Africa. I am an experienced educator with three years of teaching experience, including roles as an educational assistant and tutoring students from grades 1 to 12 in English. I'm deeply passionate about education and committed to helping students reach their full potential. Outside of teaching, my hobbies include singing, reading, journaling and dancing which I love to incorporate in my classes with my students in order to make learning fun and memorable! I'm excited to embark on this educational journey with you! Can’t wait to meet you!
I have teaching experience of 3 years. 1 year as an educational assistant at my local school where I took the place of the teacher when she was unavailable and normally I would assist her in conducting classes - mainly English - conversational teaching and basic English. I have 2 years of tutoring experience where I tutor students from grade 1 to 12 in English and ESL. I also have 2 younger sibling where I’ve helped with homework, assignments and exam preparation since they’ve been in school. My university degree allows me to expand my language spectrum. I have learnt and I intend on teaching others.
