About me

Hi there! So you decided to learn Dutch? That’s great! Welcome!

My name is Suze, a certified language and yoga teacher. I love teaching, interacting with students and seeing people progress and grow! I teach children and adults, so all levels and ages are welcome.

For my classes I use language books that are designed to get you to the next level, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced student. This provides structure and it's a great mix between grammar, speaking, listening and writing.

I can help you study for your 'inburgeringsexamen' (integration exam), help to prepare you for your new job in the Netherlands or if you just want to learn Dutch for fun! I like to give homework in my classes as well, and I give 100% each lesson to help you grow.

I know Dutch is a funny language, but I would love to help you improve, whatever level you currently have. If you are a beginner, we will start with the basics: vocabulary, basic grammar, reading exercises. And soon you will be able to have small conversations in Dutch and understand Dutch much better!

For more advanced students I use a different book: this contains more advanced language skills like talking in the past tense, and the true nuances that come with a higher level. It totally depends on your learning process and what would benefit you the most. I have lots of exercises to facilitate your learning process, varying from beginner to advanced.

The key to learning any language is practice, practice, practice! So you got this and I am here keep you accountable and guide you on your journey.

I am TEFL certified language teacher. I have worked in primary schools for over 4 years, and have a pedagogic & social work degree. I have been teaching Dutch online for 3 years now!

In a trial class we will get to know each other a bit better: Why do you want to learn Dutch? What is your current level? But I also want to learn more about you, so that I can make sure the classes will be interesting and fun for you.

Suze is a great teacher. Very patient, with a nice teaching structure. We talk quite a lot, I do listening exercises and practice writing doing my homework. It's a great balance for me! I am always looking for classes each week and improve my Dutch ☺️

Very poor service for this tutor. I have booked 50 min, lesson. And she told me to cancel the lesson and to book 25 min initial lesson, for the reason that she will not be paid and all the money goes to Prepal. I am really disappointed, I paid so much for nothing. !
