I find Chinese to be very challenging. I've completed 8 lessons with Chun and had been and am also working a lot with a language app and Youtube. Having an actual real person as a teacher is very important and I feel lucky to have Chun, wǒ de lǎoshī, otherwise the challenge would be too much. She is consistently a warm, friendly, easy, kind and considerate person who is accommodating to my ways and interests. She's competent, professional, helpful and supportive in ways that an app or Youtube cannot be to help me or be encouraging for my progress. When I was only using the app and would try to say things in Chinese to Chinese people they wouldn't understand me, but now they're understanding as my tonal pronunciation improves. Before scheduling with Chun, I considered many other tutors and listened to them speak on their intro videos. Even though some other tutors had claim to higher CEFR, I found Chun's English to be of better quality and style. Chun is a good choice for a tutor and very worth it to me.
