Sou intérprete profissional recebendo contratos de empresas públicas e privadas, governos e militares.
Eu tenho ensinado ativamente a língua inglesa nos últimos 4 anos para estudantes com várias origens, desde alunos a especialistas médicos que desejam melhorar suas habilidades na língua inglesa.
Uma das experiências mais gratificantes na minha carreira de intérprete foi quando recebi uma Challenge Coin do General do Exército dos EUA por serviços excepcionais de interpretação. Atualmente, estou cursando um mestrado em Filologia de Línguas Estrangeiras (Inglês) e Estudos de Literatura Comparada.
Curiosidade: tenho um gato britânico de pelo curto, American Whiskey e falo a língua russa.
Durante meus 5 anos de experiência como professor de inglês, descobri que a abordagem individual é o melhor método para ajudar um aluno a aprender e progredir.
Eu uso os seguintes métodos para ajudá-lo a alcançar seus objetivos:
• Primeiro, aprendo suas necessidades, objetivos e o ritmo de aquisição da linguagem.
• Depois faço anotações para sempre ter em mente o que você quer alcançar.
• Juntos encontramos a abordagem certa - esta é a chave para alcançar os objetivos de linguagem desejados.
Como aprendemos e progredimos juntos:
• Quando aprendemos padrões de linguagem, juntos também aprenderemos POR QUE os falantes nativos usam preposições ou sintaxes específicas, que LÓGICA eles usam para construir certos sons e frases.
• Aprenderemos regras complicadas de maneira divertida e fácil, e entender a lógica por trás delas o ajudará não apenas a memorizar as regras, mas a analisar, lembrar e brincar com elas de forma independente.
• Você será bombardeado com correção, repetição e feedback regular para ajudá-lo a refletir, analisar e construir em cima de seu conhecimento existente.
Durante nossa primeira aula, discutiremos o plano de ação e como posso ajudá-lo a atingir seus objetivos. Você é a estrela do show e vou aprender com você antes de começar a ensinar. Vejo as relações com meus alunos como uma troca de valores e informações. Enquanto eu treino e direciono você através do caos da gramática, fonologia ou sintaxe da língua inglesa, você me ensina como melhor ajudá-lo, quais são as coisas em que você está interessado e, através da prática lúdica, crescemos e nos tornamos melhores juntos.
PS Oh, você odeia aprender novos idiomas? O inglês parece ser muito difícil? Você demorou 5 meses para dar o primeiro passo? - Quando você faz essas perguntas, tudo o que ouço é o quanto você ama o idioma e o quanto está ansioso para começar a aprender. E se esse não for o caso agora, levaremos apenas algumas lições antes que se torne um fato.
