I have taught university students in English in various parts of the world for years. I have also given talks at various universities in several countries, usually on English. 

Saya tinggal di Malaysia, tetapi juga tahu Bahasa Indonesia dengan baik. Selain itu, saya lebih suka Bahasa Indonesia daripada Bahasa Malaysia. Di Indonesia, orang yang berbahasa Melayu sering punya bahasa sendiri yang lain, tapi di Malaysia kebanyakan orang bercakap dalam bahasa Melayu daerah sendiri. Saya suka membicara sekali dan suka pendekatan pengajaran yang informal, tapi saya menyesuaikan pendekatan ini dengan kebutuhan siswa. Namun saya bisa mengikuti buku teks. Saya selalu merekomendasikan perendaman (pencelupan, immersion) harian dalam bahasa untuk murid-murid saya. Dengan cara itu mereka terbiasa dengan suara bahasa yang mereka pelajari.

Mijn niveau van het Nederlands is net intermediair, hoewel ik kan lezen teksten in het Nederlands zonder veel moeite (romans ingesloten). Ook, ik kijk graag naar Nederlandse en Vlaamse films online. Ik hou van lesgeven op een informele manier.

I have read a good deal of Dutch literature, especially older authors who lived in colonial Indonesia. I have also read a good deal of historiography, especially related to Africa and Asia, in Dutch. Ik ben dol op het monumentale achttiende-eeuwse werk van François Valentijn, 'Oud en Nieuw-Indië'.Ik voer onderzoek uit naar plantenmigratie in de Indische Oceaan, in het bijzonder in wat betreft het Maleise Schiereiland en India.  

Teaching via conversation is my favourite way of teaching! Of course, in that case, the learner must already have reached a certain level. It is not really possible to converse properly with pre-intermediate level students. 

I have lived and worked in South Africa on and off since the mid-1990s, and have a longstanding relationship with an English department there (as a research affiliate). I also once spent a year teaching an English department in Malaysia, and another teaching at an English-medium university in Macau, besides six months teaching Asian studies at a Turkish university (again, in English). 

I cannot really teach Turkish, as my knowledge of the language is thin on the ground. However, I enjoyed my year in Istanbul very much. While I was there I taught at the Asian Studies Programme of Bogaziçi University, all the while teaching both Spanish and Portuguese on the side as a private tutor. 

I learned Modern Greek as a young man in Brasília, Brazil. I used to spend much time at the local Greek community, and learned the language from mother tongue speakers. I can read it, including novels.
 
Έμαθα τα ελληνικά όταν ήμουν ακόμα νέος, στη Μπραζίλια, η πρωτευουσα της Βραζιλίας, με την ελληνική κοινότητα της. Έχω πάει στην Ελλάδα για διακοπές.

Μου αρέσει να διαβάζω στα ελληνικά, για παράδειγμα, η εφημερίδα Η Καθημερινή. Θέλω επίσης να διαβάσω το βιβλίο του Nicholas Gage (Νίκος Γκατζογιάννης), Ελένη, στην ελληνική μετάφραση. I can converse in Greek up to intermediate level. I learned it via private tuition and through befriending local Greeks in my own country. I used to spend a good deal of time with the local Greek community, and I learned to talk to them in their own language. I also very much enjoy the liturgy of the Greek Orthodox Church (in Koine Greek, another, older form of Greek), particularly during Easter service and other special occasions. 
Eíμαι ένας Βραζιλιάνος ανθρωπολόγος και ιστορικός. Έχω ζήσει στη Μαλαισία, στη Νότιο Αφρική και στην Τουρκία, εκτός από τη Γαλλία, την Ινδία και την Ιαπωνία. Θεωρώ ότι είναι βαρετό να πληκτρολογήσω στα ελληνικά! Ποτέ δεν έμαθα πώς να γράφω με ένα ελληνικό πληκτρολόγιο.

Μ᾽αρἐσει την Ελληνικἠ ιστορἰα και τις ελληνικἐς ταινἰες και τα ποἰματα του Σεφἐρη, του Ελὐτη και του Καβἀφη. Οταν ημουν παιζἰ, ἐμαθα να χορἐψω το χασἀπικο (μὀνο το χασἀπικο βαρὐ). Πέρασα επίσης κάποιες φορές στην ελληνική εκκλησία στη Μπραζίλια.

Προτιμώ τη διδασκαλία με έναν ανεπίσημο τρόπο. Επίσης, διδάσκω μόνο την ελληνική γλώσσα σε αρχάριους. Το επίπεδο μου στην ελληνική γλώσσα είναι μόνο ενδιάμεσο. Συνιστώ πάντα τη βύθιση (immersion) στους μαθητές μου, ειδικά όταν αρχίζουν να μαθαίνουν τη γλώσσα. Η βύθιση γίνεται μέσω του Διαδικτύου, μέσω της ακρόασης βίντεο (όχι μουσικής! Δεν φαίνεται να λειτουργεί με μουσική).

Jeg har en merkelig historie med norsk. Jeg har aldri vært i Norge, men jeg har brukt tid i Danmark. Likevel kan jeg lese språket og til og med snakke det litt. 

I have taught Japanese-Brazilian children and teenagers at a Japanese-language school, as well as adults in private lessons. Now I only teach adults.私は日系ブラジル人の子どもと青少年日本語学校で教えました。それから、日系と非日系の大人も教えてきました。 今は大人のみを教えています。

I have published on South African and other literature in English, as well as in other languages. I have once also taught Malaysia and Singaporean literature in English at a university in Malaysia. 

I am Latin American!!! Though I grew up in Brasília, Brazil, I used to spend most of my time with Latin American friends of various nationalities, and we seldom used Portuguese among us. Me gusta enseñar de una manera informal, aunque me adapte sin problemas a las necesidades y pedidos de mis alumnos. Uso manuales, pero, a no ser que un alumno me lo pida, no me gusta hacer toda una clase siguiendo solamente un manual. Me gusta además alternar entre diálogos, explicaciones gramaticales y textos cortos. Siempre recomiendo a mis alumnos que hagan una inmersión en el idioma, ya que en general no viven en un ambiente donde se habla el español. Esa inmersión puede hacerse por medio de Youtube, por ejemplo, donde hay muchas películas y videos en español. Bastan quince-veinte minutos diarios, al principio. No es necesario entender lo que uno escucha, en realidad, investigadores han descubierto que uno siquiera necesita entender lo que se dice o mirar la pantalla. Es mejor no repetir tampoco, en esa etapa inicial del aprendizaje del idioma. Simplemente escuchar la lengua durante un rato todos los días es importante para que uno se acostumbre al sonido del idioma. Desgraciadamente muy pocos alumnos se dan cuenta de la importancia de la inmersión quotidiana en la lengua que están aprendiendo.

I am not deeply familiar with Italian-language literature, but I can probably read anything in Italian provided it is the modern language (Dante, for instance, is quite tough for me, though I must say Italians themselves also find it difficult!). 

I have been regularly reading in French - scholarly but also literary works - for three decades now. I have also written a couple of scholarly articles and book chapters in French, and translated one article from French into Portuguese. J'ai étudié en France, à Paris, pendant une année, j'ai aussi fait des recherches en Martinique, à la Caraïbe, pendant trois mois, et  plus récemment (2015-16) j'ai été à Nantes pendant six mois en tant que chercheur. J'ai deux publications (un article académique et un chapitre dans une collection) en français. À Nantes, j'ai organisé deux séminaires bilingues (en anglais et en français) avec une collègue française. Je n'ai pourtant presque jamais enseigné la langue jusqu'à présent. J'ai été plutôt un enseignant de portugais, espagnol, japonais et anglais. J'arrive à comprendre bien le français et aussi à lire n'importe quel texte (y inclus de romans) dans la langue. Je la parle couramment aussi. À ce moment, je ne parle le français que avec des français et de sénégalais résidents à Rio. En plus, j'emploie également le français pour enseigner le japonais (sic), parce qu'un des mes élèves est francophone. 

J'ai beaucoup lu en français - des romans, de la philosophie, des livres de sciences sociales, des récits de voyage, etc. J'ai aussi regardé pas mal de films francophones (surtout français et ouest-africains), notamment dans le passé (le Brésil est un pays assez francophile. Jusqu'à la génération de mes parents, le français était la principale et souvent la seule langue étrangère qu'on apprenait à l'école ou chez soi par le biais des cours particuliers. Aujourd'hui encore beaucoup de gens apprennent toujours le français). 

I am slow-going as far as written Modern Greek is concerned, but I like reading texts in Greek. I have even given New Testament and Ancient Greek a try (the former is somewhat easier than the latter). 

Tenho experiência de ensinar português fora do Brasil, especialmente na África do Sul. Meus alunos até agora tem sido de nível básico e intermediário, embora, claro, eu esteja plenamente qualificado para ensinar minha língua em todos os níveis! I have taught Portuguese on a regular basis to Capetonians in South Africa as well as on occasion to other nationalities, such as Americans, Australians, Russians, and Turks. Durante minha trajetória (tenho um histórico de bem mais de dez anos de residência fora do Brasil, principalmente em meia dúzia de países na África e Ásia, mas também na Europa), fui exposto a várias línguas diferentes, que aprendi em graus variados. O inglês se tornou ao longo desses anos minha língua de trabalho (publico hoje em dia quase exclusivamente nesse idioma, embora tenha muitas publicações em português também. Há anos não ensino numa universidade lusófona). Em particular, tenho uma identificação profunda (ainda que não exclusiva) com a Cidade do Cabo, na África do Sul, onde duas línguas principais são faladas, a saber, o afrikaans e o inglês (além do isiXhosa, língua materna do Nelson Mandela). Essas duas línguas me influenciaram muito, e pode-se escutar traços de sua influência inclusive no meu português! Portanto, apesar do português de São Paulo ser minha língua materna, não fala exatamente com sotaque carioca, nem falo como os apresentadores das notícias na Rede Globo! Tenho ensinado contudo as pessoas a falarem com sotaque carioca (sic), já que moro no Rio de Janeiro (ademais, tenho anos de residência nas costas nesta cidade). 

I have extensive knowledge of both scholarly and literary works in Portuguese through having worked for close to ten years at Brazilian universities and one year at a partly Lusophone - i.e. Portuguese-language - university in Macau, China. Trabalho com obras históricas da Índia Portuguesa, em particular de Goa, publicadas entre os séculos XVI e XX (Goa foi incorporada à Índia e deixou de ser colônia portuguesa em 1961). Portanto, meu trabalho de pesquisa envolve pesquisa com obras de língua portuguesa, muitas das quais nunca foram traduzidas para o inglês. 

I have lived for five years in Malaysia, where I also taught at a local university for a year. I have visited Indonesia next door. I have carried out research work both in Indonesian and Malaysia. Malaysia's Malay and Indonesian are closely related, a bit like Dutch and Flemish, for instance. They are even closer than Spanish and Portuguese. As I have lived five years in Malaysia, I can read anything in modern Indonesian, provided I am given time to familiarise myself with a text! Saya suka menonton film/pilem Indonesia di internet dan mendengar khabar-khabar di radio. 

I have lived in Malaysia for five years. Malay - called Bahasa Malaysia in Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia in Indonesia - is the common language of both Indonesia and Malaysia. 80% of their vocabulary is shared, though there are some small but important differences: misalnya, di Malaysia orang berkata 'sejuk', tapi di Indonesia orang berkata 'dingin'. Both mean 'cold'. 'Money' di Indonesia disebut dengan kata 'uang', tetapi di Malaysia disebut 'duit'. Orang muda di Jakarta dan tempat lain-lain di Jawa berkata 'gue', 'gua' (saya, aku). Karena itu ada banyak perbedaan kecil antara Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Indonesia. 

Ik heb een jaar in Nederland gewoond, en ook op Aruba, Curaçao, en Suriname onderzoek verrichten. In Suriname is het Nederlands nog steeds de ambtelijke taal van het land. I have a PhD from a university in the Netherlands. I have used Dutch and Afrikaans sources for my doctoral and later research. I have also carried out fieldwork in Cape Town, South Africa, and therefore I also know more than a modicum of Afrikaans. Ek is vaak geneig om Afrikaans en Nederlands te meng, veral as ek met die mense in Kaapstad praat! Dit kan een beetje vervelend zijn voor mensen die niet van de ene of de andere taal houden. Ook, ik voeg vaak nie's nie's (dubbele negatie) toe toen ik met Nederlanders en Vlamingen spreken, ook al vinden ze het niet leuk!  Afrikaners sê 'Ek wil nie rook nie', maar Nederlanders, Surinamers en Vlamingen zeggen liever gewoon 'Ik wil niet roken'. Ze vinden het grappig als een dubbele negatie wordt toegevoegd!  Woordjes zoals 'baie' (veel) ook vaak voorkomen in het Afrikaans, maar nooit in het Nederlands. 'Baie' komt uit het Maleis 'banyak', dwz. 'veel'. In plaats van 'banana', zeggen de mensen in Kaapstad 'piesang', nog een woord dat uit het Maleis komt. Ze gebruiken ook het woord 'gogga' voor erg kleine dieren: dit woord komt uit een Khoisan taal (een plaatselijke taal die niet meer wordt algemeen in Kaapstad gesproken). De zinsbouw kan ook een beetje anders zijn in Afrikaans in vergelijking met het Nederlands. 'Ik ga niet naar huis' wordt bijvoorbeeld in het Afrikaans 'Ek gaan nie huis toe nie'. 'Open' in het Nederlands wordt 'oopmaak' in het Afrikaans: 'maak die deur oop' in het Afrikaans is 'open de deur' in het Nederlands. Ook, het Nederlands heeft twee lidwoorden ('de' en 'het') maar het Afrikaans net één ('die'). Enzovoorts! 

I learned Russian as a teenager. Then I studied it again in Macau, China, with an Ukrainian colleague there. Most recently, I have returned to it. I think Russian is a very important language, especially as it contains the spirit of a whole ancient civilisation. I hope to be able to study it further. I cannot currently venture into teaching it, though, as I am a learner myself! 

I am anthropologist by training, and I have carried out fieldwork in Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, South India (Kerala), Macau (China), and Malaysia. I have also taught on university campii in Brazil, Macau, South Africa, and Turkey, for many years, in both English and Portuguese. 

I have a modicum of experience in religious studies especially in what concerns the interface between various religions in early modern Asia - such as Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Am currently doing research on plants, altered states of consciousness, and South Asian healing systems. I am also very interested in Jeffrey Kripal's (Rice University, Texas) take on the history of comparative religion. 

I am not a professional philosopher by training. I have encountered philosophy first through the social sciences (I am an anthropologist & historian), and then through my research work related to India and Eurasia. I am particularly interested in the links between Mediterranean philosophies such as Platonism and related thought, and Indic philosophies of Eurasia such as Vedanta. 

Some aspects of Vedanta have been important in my work on India as an anthropologist and historian, besides being important for me personally. I have been studying Sanskrit, and I also read and study the Bhagavad Gita and Nagarjuna quite often. 

Through my own research work - which has included a brief look into Avicenna and other Islamic Neoplatonism - I have become interested in the links between various different philosophies in the West and Eurasia. Again, I am no specialist here. 

Ensinei português a sul-africanos com pouco conhecimento da língua, assim como a russos e australianos online que já sabiam um pouco de espanhol. I have taught Portuguese to South Africans with no previous knowledge of the language, as well as to people from other nationalities all over the world. Of course, I have also used Portuguese as a medium of instruction in Brazil and Macau (nesta última cidade, contudo, apenas num único curso de pós-graduação em estudos lusófonos, já que os estudantes em Macau geralmente não conhecem o idioma, apesar de ser um dos dois idiomas oficiais da Região Administrativa Especial de Macau, junto com o chinês). 

I have lived and studied in the Netherlands, and got a PhD from a Dutch university.I can help students prepare for the inburgeringsexamen, the Dutch government's official integration exam (Dutch language & society) required of applicants for temporary resident permits from most nationalities. 

I am a trained anthropologist and historian with many publications to my name, including a single-authored book published in the US. 

The Spanish-language literature I'm better acquainted with is that of Latin America, particularly of South America. 

Ho imparato l'italiano con una institutrice italo-brasiliana quando ero ancora un ragazzo a Brasília (lei lavorava all'ambasciata d'Italia).

Mi piacciono molto le lingue, e ne imparato parecchie nel corso degli anni. Arrivo a leggere dei romanzi in italiano, ma non li leggo spesso. Non ho mai insegnato la lingua.

L'altro giorno ho guardato 'Cristo si è fermato a Eboli', basato sul romanzo dello stesso nome di Carlo Levi. Nessun sottotitolo in nessuna lingua. Mi è piaciuto abbastanza, sebbene non abbia mai letto il romanzo (adesso ho voglia di leggerlo!). Sono arrivato a capire il 90% di quello che si diceva. Comunque, quando la gente parlava sullo schermo il dialetto di Basilicata (il film era ambientato lí), capivo forse soltanto il 50% di quello che dicevano!

Si dice que lo spagnolo e l'italiano hanno fino all'80% del loro vocabolario in comune. Non so se questa affermazione sia vera. Il parlo benissimo lo spagnolo, ma mi sembra che sia abbastanza diverso dall'italiano.

Soy brasileño y he vivido en África y Asia durante muchos años, en especial en Sudáfrica y Malasia. Soy antropólogo e historiador, un especialista en estudios del Océano Índico. He estudiado en Brasil y en los Países Bajos. Mis investigaciones me han llevado a India, Macao (China), Malasia, Indonesia, además, hice investigaciones también en el Caribe francés (Martinica) y neerlandés (Aruba, Curaçao y Surinam). Desgraciadamente no conozco el Caribe inglés o hispánico. No he viajado mucho en África tampoco, a excepción de Sudáfrica (solamente en Namibia y Senegal). Me gustan los idiomas y he escrito y publicado (sobre todo en inglés) sobre la historia social (sic) y lingüística de algunos idiomas de Sudáfrica y del Asia del Sud y Sudeste, entre otros, el afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, el malayo-indonesio y el malayala (la lengua de Kerala, India), además del konkani (la lengua de Goa) y de los criollos de base léxica portuguesa en Asia (India, Malacca y Macao). También he vivido y trabajado con refugiados mizo en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. Los mizos son una minoría étnica cristiana de la frontera indo-birmana. Tienen su propio estado en India (Mizoram, ello es, la 'tierra de los mizos').

He viajado en Filipinas, que me parecieron, desde el punto de vista del Japón (donde vivía yo entonces), un país casi latinoamericano debido a su herencia hispánica. He investigado un poco la obra de José Rizal, un escrito filipino y nacionalista que escribía en español (ahora en general los filipinos sólo logran leerlo en traducción inglesa), pero nunca he publicado sobre el asunto. En este momento hago investigaciones sobre el movimiento de plantas en el Océano Índico.

J'ai souvent enseigné des langues d'une manière plutôt informelle, quoique je m'adapte aussi aux nécessités de mes élèves.  J'aime utiliser un manuel avec des dialogues et des explications, mais je ne le suis jamais à la lettre, sauf si mon élève me le demanderait. Je trouve qu'aucun manuel suffit en ce qui concerne l'apprentissage d'une langue. Il faut avoir de la variation. Je crois aussi que les élèves doivent faire de l'immersion quotidienne dans la langue. Puisque normalement ils n'habitent pas dans un pays où on parle français, ils doivent utiliser l'internet pour écouter le français tous les jours. Des émissions de radio, des documentaires, des interviews, tout cela sert à aider l'élève à s'habituer à la langue. Surtout au début, l'élève n'a point besoin de comprendre ce qu'il entend ou même de regarder l'écran, d'après des résultats de quelques investigations, il suffit qu'on écoute, sans répéter, pour s'habituer d'abord au son de la langue. Cela est très important. Pourtant, peu d'élèves le font ou se rend compte de l'importance de le faire. Je crois que c'est plus important que de faire des devoirs. 

I have taught Spanish for a year at an Instituto Cervantes. He enseñado español en Turquía y Brasil. 

I have lived two years in Japan.　私はブラジルで 生まれた、オランダの ユトレヒト大学人類学卒業。さらに私は 歴史学者です。東京大学人類学教室で一年間半留学生でした。いろいろな国で研究し、それから講演した。私は歴史と人類学はブラジルと澳門とマレーシアとトルコで教えた。それから英語でもブラジル語でも教えました。インド洋の港町の歴史的な研究、それから人類学的な研究をしました。私は今、インド洋の植物移動の歴史に興味を持っています。私は主に英語の単行本を含むいくつかの出版物を持っています。

I have lived and studied for a year in Paris; I did research for three months in Martinique (French Caribbean); and was a researcher for six months in Nantes, Brittany. Je suis brésilien, un anthropologue et historien. J'ai vécu en France (dans l'Hexagone et aussi en Martinique), et j'ai aussi fait un séjour à Dakar. Je m'intéresse beaucoup aux langues, et j'ai appris le français au Brésil quand j'étais encore assez jeune. 

J'ai passé presque toute ma vie dès l'âge de dix-huit ans à l'université, quoique j'aie travaillé dans quatre continents, la plupart du temps au Brésil, en Malaisie, Macao (Chine) et en Afrique du Sud (je n'ai pourtant jamais enseigné dans ce dernier pays). J'ai enseigné en anglais et en portugais, et aussi au troisième cycle, sauf en Malaisie où je n'ai enseigné qu'en anglais et au Brésil où on en général on ne peut pas enseigner en anglais sauf si on est dans un département d'anglais (ou si on est un professeur visitant étranger qui ne connaît point le portugais). 

Je me suis toujours intéressé aux langues, surtout celles d'Afrique et d'Asie, mais aussi le néerlandais et le grec moderne en Europe. Mon niveau d'afrikaans, indonésien et japonais est intermédiaire. J'ai aussi appris un peu de malayalam (une langue dravidienne du Kérala, dans le sud de l'Inde) et de birman (j'ai fait des recherches sur le terrain avec des réfugiés mizo, une minorité ethnique indo-birmane qui habite en Malaisie, surtout à Kuala Lumpur). J'ai publié beaucoup, y inclus des livres (soit des collections et un titre à moi, généralement en anglais ou portugais). J'ai toujours fait des recherches sur le terrain et aussi des recherches dans les archives.

Agora estou pouco a pouco adquirindo experiência de ensino de português para estrangeiros no Brasil. I have taught Portuguese to Anglophone and Afrikaans-speaking South Africans in Cape Town. Minha língua materna é o português do Brasil, em especial o português de São Paulo, mas também tenho familiaridade com outras formas de português.  For instance, for my research in Melaka, Malaysia, and Macau, China, I studied a little the Creole Portuguese of both cities (that is, a language that is not standard Portuguese but instead locally developed. Macau also happens to have its own brand of non-Creole Portuguese). Melaka Portuguese, for instance (called Pápia Kristang by some), is far from mutually unintelligible with Brazilian Portuguese (or Cape Verdean Creole Portuguese, for that matter), though one must make an effort to understand it. I personally felt closer to Melaka Portuguese than I ever did to Portugal's Portuguese, in spite of the barriers to understanding. Melakans are very warm people (whether or not they are Portuguese), and are in this way somewhat closer to Brazilians than to Europeans. 

I have studied Italian for years with a private Italian tutor. I have visited Italy. Sono brasiliano, un antropologo e storico. Ho vissuto nell'Africa e nell'Asia: Africa del Sud, Malaysia, India, Cina (Macau), ma anche in Francia e nei Paesi Bassi. Non ho mai vissuto in Italia. Mi piace fare l'insegnante di lingue.

Credo che sia abbastanza importante imparare delle lingue per conto della comunicazione interculturale ed anche per conto dello stesso sviluppo personale. Parecchie volte ho cominciato a impare una lingua perché mi incontravo in una regione dove si parla quella lingua, per esempio, ho imparato un po il malayalam a Kerala, India, il cantonese a Macau, e il birmanese a Kuala Lumpur (dove ho fatto una ricerca con i Mizo, un popolo cristiano della frontiera indo-birmana che si era rifugiato in Malesia).

Sono stato docente di studi culturali, antropologia ed istoria africana ed asiatica a parecchie università in Brasile, Macau (Cina) e Malesia. Ho insegnato in portoghese ed inglese. Sono dal 2014 legato al departamento di inglese della Universitá di Stellenbosch in Sud Africa, dove sono un ricercatore (research affiliate). Adesso faccio delle ricerche sulle migrazioni delle piante nel Oceano Indico. Preferisco conversare, ed il mio metodo di insegnare un idioma è piuttosto informale. Mi adeguo comunque ai bisogni dei miei allievi. Utilizzo dei manuali per insegnare, ma non mi piace seguire sempre un manuale durante le lezioni. Mi sembra che sia necessario abbastanza varietà durante una lezione, e nessun manuale può davvero fornirlo. Mi piace anche sempre raccomandare ai miei allievi che facciamo un po' di immersione diaria nella lingua, cioè, che ascoltino un video qualsiasi online (fornisco sempre delle suggestioni ai miei allievi) in italiano durante quindici-venti minuti ogni giorno. Non c'è bisogno di capire quello che si ascolta, e nemmeno di guardare lo schermo. È meglio non ripetere quello che si ascolta in questa fase. L'obiettivo qui è soltanto abituarsi al sonido del idioma. Nient'altro! Io trovo che questa tecnica sia abbastanza importante per aiutare l'allievo nel processo d'imparare una nuova lingua.
