Jonathan is an excellent teacher that you should not miss! You can always learn more in his class than you ever expect. He is very responsible and is never late for class. He carefully designs each class and homework based on each student’s own needs, so I am sure my class is different from everybody else’s. My own focus is written English. Before each class, I usually prepare two paragraphs that describe the same thing. One is written by a native speaker in English and the other one is what I translate using my own words based on a version written in my mother tongue. Jonathan is always kind enough to spend several hours during his leisure time helping me revise my own writing and then during the class, he always carefully compares three different versions and explains to me why one version is better than another. I understand it is very difficult for a teacher to make revision based on his student’s translation (rather than writing), but Jonathan welcomes this challenge. During his class, I can always learn some useful idioms that are new to me. Jonathan will explain very clearly how to use these idioms and give a lot of great examples. He is also very humorous. We always laugh together several times during his class. In sum, I highly recommend him to everyone who is willing to improve English!

I love having our lessons with Jonathan! He is an enjoyable person with a great sense of humor. I like his approach and attention to grammar and pronunciation. You can feel Jonathan's experience in teaching. He clearly explains grammar rules and gives understandable examples to figure out how to use them in real life. Yes, real-life English is the thing that I like the most! What is important to note is that during the lessons, we use the knowledge learned in the previous classes - so your skills improve even better. Another essential point: Jonathan has no lesson limit. He will allocate a few more minutes if we have already run out of time but need more time to discuss something. I'm telling you, I learned more than in years of studying English during our few lessons. Thank you, Jonathan!
