Selime Hocam is an amazing Turkish teacher who has a true gift for inspiring her students. Her passion for teaching is evident in every lesson, as she goes above and beyond to ensure that each student not only understands the material but also develops a deep appreciation for the language and culture. Selime Hocam's teaching style is engaging, interactive, and highly effective. She creates a supportive and inclusive learning environment, making her students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Turkish. She is an amazing teacher.

Ümmi Selime is an outstanding teacher and a genuinely good hearted person, which is extremely rare. She has passion as well as experience. Lessons are quite lively and interesting; grammar being taught with speaking and listening as well as day to day conversation. This brings the language to life in one's mind ! She would also recommend quite interesting listening material if you ask. Çok teşekkür ederim Ümmi Selime

This much belated review is meant to praise the unmatched teaching skills of Selime Hoca. I have known her for over 4 years now, and got to establish a special bond with her. During my stay at her house in Istanbul, I learned that she is dedicated to all of her students with whom I can only imagine she shares her vast knowledge on a variety of topics, as she's been doing so generously over the years with me. I truly appreciate this woman, both as a teacher and a friend. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone wishing to both start learning Turkish or to improve it. You can't go wrong, worth every second of the time you invest in learning about the Turkish language, people and culture.
