The Eagles’ top crew was second in the Garden State Championships and third at the Philadelphia City Championships to lead the area. EHT won a two-boat race with St. Augustine Prep at the Atlantic County Championships.
VARSITY SINGLE HOLY SPIRIT
Mike Ricciardi
This 6-foot-5 Spartan won his division at the Philadelphia City Championships and then finished third at the Stotesbury Cup. At the Atlantic County Championships, Ricciardi was the stroke of Holy Spirit’s winning varsity four. He’ll row for La Salle University in the fall.

VARSITY DOUBLE HOLY SPIRIT
Nick Sarno, Jake Meli
This crew won the four-boat Atlantic County race by more than eight seconds. The two were fourth in a semifinal at Stotesbury. The Atlantic County regatta allows for extra participation, and Sarno was also part of the winning varsity four.
VARSITY FOUR EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP

EHT assembled this crew instead of a varsity eight to compete at Stotesbury and the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Regatta. The Eagles placed fifth in a semifinal at Stotesbury and third in the petite final at the SRAA, which is commonly called Nationals.

These Spartans were primarily scullers in smaller boats this year, but they won a five-boat race by more than 17 seconds at the Atlantic County Championships.
JUNIOR EIGHT OCEAN CITY
William Ellis, Gavin Tomaselli, Michael Wolosin, Phineas Costal, Chase Cole, Aaron Young, Luke Tjoumakaris, Jake Tracy, coxswain Joe Majowicz
The Red Raiders were second at both the Garden State and Philadelphia City events to lead the area. They won a six-boat race by more than nine seconds at the Atlantic County Championships
JUNIOR FOUR ATLANTIC CITY
John Nguyen, Brian Scott, Grayson Aftanis, Blaise Kurtz, coxswain Josh Weinstock
The Vikings won the five-boat Atlantic County race by more than 17 seconds. Led the area with a fifth-place finish at the Garden State event, known as States, and missed making the final at the City Championships by 0.05 seconds.
FRESHMAN EIGHT EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP
Logan Manning, Jacob Le, Dan Corcoran, Riley Herick, Ryan Capozzoli, Aiden Fultz, Ricardo Aguirre, Reid Warrington, coxswain Praveer Parekh
The EHT crew led the area by finishing third at State and fourth at the City Championships. The Eagles won a two-boat race at the Atlantic County event.
SECOND EIGHT ST. AUGUSTINE PREP
Sean Dugan, Jaden Marchelle, Austin Reed, Dean DePalma, Cameron Cuff, Reno Nazaron, Jacob Engle, Finn Gallagher, coxswain Luke Grippo
The Hermits finished third at States and then won a two-boat race against La Salle High School at the City Championships.
NOVICE EIGHT EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP

The Eagles won the Garden State race, finished fifth to Atlantic City’s fourth at the City Championships and then won a six-boat race by three seconds at the County Championships.
NOVICE/JUNIOR SINGLE HOLY SPIRIT

The Spartan won the boys gig/novice single race by more than three seconds at the City Championships. At States, he finished fifth in the junior single division.
LIGHTWEIGHT FOUR OCEAN CITY

The Red Raiders finished third at States to lead the area and won a four-boat race by five seconds in the Atlantic County Championships. Egg Harbor Township finished higher in the Stotesbury Cup, getting sixth in a semifinal.
