WhatNext.Law and the NOVA Green Lab are delighted to invite you to the webinar entitled “𝗘𝗨 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗝𝗘𝗨 (𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰): 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄?”, to take place on 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝟬𝟮:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺. The webinar presents the most important judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union on contracts (July 2023 – March 2024). The event is based on two articles in the European Review of Contract Law, Issues 20(1) and 20(2), presented by their authors: Fabrizio Esposito, Lucila de Almeida, and Elisa Valletta. 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Out of 343 judgments delivered between July 2023 and March 2024 by the CJEU, 94 had a contractual dimension. The event begins with an overview of the cases, explaining monitoring and selection criteria. Next, we will present the cases that impact the most on contracting practices in the European Union. Questions will be collected via chat during the event, which will close with a Q&A session. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁: Since 2020, the European Review of Contract Law has periodically published articles entitled ´EU Contract Case Law,´ which gather op-eds on the most important judgments of the CJEU with contract law dimension within a certain period. These op-eds derive from continued research for identifying and classifying the judgments with contract law dimension, conducted by the Professors of NOVA School of Law, Fabrizio Esposito and Lucila de Almeida. In the last two issues, they have invited PhD researchers to join them and share the task of describing some cases.
