I am the Chief Executive Officer of Vortal, the world’s leading global eProcurement and eSourcing solutions company.
With over 20 years of experience for this market-leading SaaS business across Europe and globally, I was one of its earliest employees as it transformed the eTendering industry, first in Portugal and then across Europe and the world. Its unique platform now serves hundreds of thousands of buying entities and suppliers, and has awarded tens of billions of euros in contract value across government and corporate sectors.
We continue our strong trajectory of growth, both organic and inorganic, with the recent acquisition of three companies, and are now part of the Byggfakta Group, a leading software and information company which operates at the center of the construction ecosystem.
My expertise includes:

      I built strong relationships with chief procurement, legal and technology stakeholders in government departments and was a key contributor to Vortal’s rapid penetration of the public sector, quickly gaining 60% market share and growing the business line from infancy to multimillion-euro revenues.
      Key to this success was the development of expert sales teams, and the negotiation of partnerships with IT companies to develop product integrations and manage integration.
