What do you do if you're a communication professional and want to stay updated on innovative trends?
Many of the suggestions are very time consuming or costly. My 2 suggestions: What works well with my time and at no cost, is watching channels on YouTube that are in your niche and have your audience (I'm a YouTuber so for me it's my nr 1 source ). Youtubers post weekly, so it's not too time consuming, but definitely helpful, because you can also read the comments of the viewers and know what it is they want. Secondly, have a mastermind group of a few people similar to you who genuinely are there to grow and help each other. Each person has different expertise and knowledge and each person spends time on researching so you'll gain an enourmous amount of time talking together once a month (or whenever you meet). Have fun!

You're living abroad and want to stay connected with your culture. How can you do it?
Great topic as I've been living abroad for over 20 years (gosh...time flies). Not only have lived in 10+ countries, but the last 3 years, I've been traveling full-time across the globe. For me, what helps me is to create a ROUTINE as quick as possible. I will find the supermarket first, Then, I search for a gym so I can get that routine in and also connect with people and it's also my social moment. Since I work on my laptop, I would find a library or public space where I can work. Other than that, I would say it gets easier overtime. Ah yes...I always try to speak the languages too, which helps a LOT. It's a life experience that can be challenging, but I will NEVER regret doing so!
