    Since 1992, he has been working at CIRES, Lda (Companhia Industrial de Resinas Sintéticas, CIRES, Lda). He has been assigned with different functions in the technological and R&D laboratory and has been in charge of Technical Service for Suspension and Emulsion PVC resins. This work has been carried out in close collaboration with the R&D structures of PVC compounders of CIRES group. He has also been taking part in several technical and standardization committees.

    Since 1992, he has been working at CIRES, Lda (Companhia Industrial de Resinas Sintéticas, CIRES, Lda). He has been assigned with different functions in the technological and R&D laboratory and has been in charge of Technical Service for Suspension and Emulsion PVC resins. This work has been carried out in close collaboration with the R&D structures of PVC compounders of CIRES group. He has also been taking part in several technical and standardization committees.
    He is the author and co-author of scientific papers in the areas of PVC extrusion, rheology, PVC composites and characterization of PVC based materials.
    Since 2010, he has been part of the commercial organisation of Shin-Etsu’s PVC business in Europe as Technical Service Manager, responsible for the range of grades of suspension, emulsion and specialties PVC VICIR resins produced in Portugal. He also conducts research in the areas of PVC processing and new PVC applications.
