I was looking for another training opportunity centred on the administrative side. Hence, the opportunity to work with beIN came as the perfect coincidence.
During the three weeks of training with beIN Sports, I worked with the staff on administrative tasks related to major ongoing projects.
In the first week, I trained with Natasha Ross from the Human Resources team, where I learned how to organise private files and benefited from skills in using Microsoft Excel.
In the second week, I trained with Toby and the Office of the President and CEO, where I was very fortunate to meet CEO Yousef Al-Obaidly and work with his fantastic team on leading events for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. Last week, I trained alongside the Corporate Affairs and Communications team in beIN, where I gained knowledge on how the administrative and creative work overlap within sport media. عرض أقل

In this fortnightly book club my role involves managing the
society social media and social events. I'm also responsible for ensuring inclusivity within society
and sessions.

My role as a volunteer was to organise the events and festivals hosted
by Bristol Museums I also had the opportunity to volunteer at Bristol's Brilliant Archaeology in July of 2022, in which I worked and engaged with over 50 children and parents and learned more about how festivals operate.

As a student volunteer, I was allocated roles such as photographing the event and editing clips. I was also the virtual reality assistant for the RAI film festival, greeting the guests, guiding them on how to use VR headsets and helping with other technical aspects. In addition, I was a tech assistant for the RAI Film Festival online panels, overseeing and managing the online conferences through Zoom and Whova.

As the charity outreach my role was to assist the charity director in the outreach process. Whilst looking for ways to build connection with our charity and the local community, furthering our practical support.
