Excessive Heat Warnings in Texas; Excessive Rainfall Threat in Arizona; Severe Storms in the Northern Plains

Major to Extreme HeatRisk will continue over the Southern Plains through the end of this week. Monsoonal thunderstorms may produce heavy to excessive rainfall today across Arizona and portions of southern Utah. Localized areas of flash flooding may be possible especially in urban areas.
