5 animals Ravens OL Tyre Phillips could beat in a race

Baltimore Ravens rookie offensive lineman Tyre Phillips showed off his moves on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Following quarterback Lamar Jackson fumbling on third-and-seven, Phillips scooped up the ball and rushed it 22 yards before trucking Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack, knocking him back several yards.

Not only did Phillips recover the ball, but he also picked up the first down and kept the drive alive. A few plays later, Jackson would find tight end Mark Andrews for a three-yard touchdown pass, putting Baltimore up 40-7.

Phillips might be a big man, standing at 6-foot-5 and 344 pounds, but he showed off quite some speed on the play. According to Next Gen Stats, Phillips hit a blazing 13.03 mph on his run. For his “big man” run, Phillips earned a little recognition from the folks at “Good Morning Football,” earning the “angry run scepter” for Week 15.

But that got me thinking . . . Just how fast is 13 mph? So I looked up some animals to help put Phillips’ run into context.
