| Congratulations to Transit Operator Dennis Thomsen, honoree for 2024 on the WSDOT Wall of Fame! Dennis came on board at RiverCities Transit just over five years ago and immediately impressed everyone with his eagerness to be of service. The coworker nominating him stated, “Dennis seems to always put forward a positive attitude, is happy to help and to assist whenever needed.” Dennis demonstrates consistent reliability, excellent driving performance, and exceptional customer service skills, which led to him becoming one of our route trainers. His concern for others is truly praiseworthy. For example, his manager recently noticed Dennis walking around to the street side of our transit center building just to make sure a customer knew his bus was about to leave. As Dennis himself says, “Any day you can make someone smile is a good day!” RiverCities Transit appreciates Dennis’ commitment to positivity and professionalism and takes great pride in honoring him on the 2024 Wall of Fame. |
