Falling in love with your captor is definitely a bad idea, right?I couldn’t put this down. From Damon being the most annoying brat, to Saint’s quiet confession that he can’t get off without kissing 🥺, them both st@lking each other, breaking into each other’s homes, being absolute men obsessed and not realising this thing between them had stopped being purely physical - I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! 💥I loved that Saint’s “recon” came into play in the bedroom so not only did he know what Damon’s preferences were but he did his homework and he delivered! I also loved that Damon gave as good as he got so he showed up in the most provocative outfits knowing the effect they would have. The dynamic between these two is electric ⚡️ I nearly died when Damon said “Shhh, you’re going to need this.” 🥵If you love dark, spicy MM romance, you’re going to love this.Thanks to Jesse H. Reign for the ARC - all opinions are my own.

Saint and Demon.....what a ride.

I definitely had different expectations going into this book. I thought it would be darker, but I'm so glad it wasn't! Demon was such a brat. It made me laugh. And then there is Saint. Definitely the strong silent type, but also so unexpectedly sweet and tender. Not to mention his passion for reading romance novels! Absolutely adored that little tidbit. These two had a lot of spicy interactions and a kind of magnetism that drew them towards each other, even when they didn't want that. I think the thing that could have really brought this book up a level was seeing a deeper connection form. We didn't get as much relationship development that I would have loved to see. I had a hard time suspending my disbelief in that aspect.... but I still enjoyed every bit of what we were given. This was a very solid read!

Why? Why haven’t I read this book sooner? I devoured it in less than two days. Who needs sleep anyway? It’s overrated. I loved Damon’s and Saint’s story. It’s not love at first sight. It’s not even lust. It’s uniquely them. Enemies to lovers with a cherry on top. I love their connection, the chemistry they have, the humor in the darkness and how the things they do that feel wrong, might start to feel right.

So, there’s a Demon and a Saint. There’s a kidnapping, there’s lots of stalking, there’s an adorable kink, there’s lots of pleading the 5th, anarchy, no joy, a bit (or a lot) of Beauty and the Beast and cargo pants. Oh, and there’s lots of heat… And there’s an HEA that seemed impossible.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this story! From page 1, I was hooked! Damon has got to be the worst kidnapping victim in the history of all kidnapping victims. His smart mouth was everything! I enjoyed the torture he inflicted on poor Saint, the damn kidnapper might I add. Their banter was everything. They definitely met their match with eachother. These two could not have been more different, but their dynamic was funny, sexy, and totally unexpected!

Not only was this story a good time, but it was steamy as heck🥵 The forced proximity only added to the sexiness of it all. I’m a sucker for size difference and a match of masculine with a more feminine man. Saint and Damon together was freaking hoooot! I loved their chemistry in and out of the bedroom.

This book was only about 200 pages, but we get a full story. In such a short time, we see that these characters are more than what meets the eye and also able to see them grow. Saint definitely stole my heart. 🥹 He was a huge teddy bear whose back story totally broke my heart. 💔

These two may have met in a crazy and unconventional way, but I was rooting for them to the end! 😍😍

Jesse Reign is a new to me author and I was really impressed with this story. I’m definitely gonna be binging on their catalog.

I highly recommend this book! It was a 5 star read for sure in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I so dislike that I can't give half stars. This book is more than a 3* but not quite a 4*. The main characters are both full of quirks, idiosyncrasies and venom. They express these in ways that couldn't be more different. What do you get when a kidnapping murderer and a vain spoiled rich kid are forced together? Drama, death and dark humor. The kidnapper, Saint is anything but a saint. Damon, the brat is a self involved, egotistical, sarcastic demon. This tale of how they come together is interesting. However it does have the familiarity of the forced proximity genre. There are no real surprises but it's an enjoyable read nevertheless.

Endlessly entertaining, this was filled with well-written characters and a compelling story. 

Morally grey characters are some of my absolute favorites and this author has done a fantastic job with Saint – I swooned over his possessiveness over Damon… 🙈

LOL - Damon, he was such a diva and I loved him for it, his quick wit and refusal to be the quiet ‘damsel’ in distress just accepting his fate, made him all the more loveable. 

Neither of them saw love in their futures and I loved seeing them figure out their feelings.

One of my favourite scenes was their love confession - it was hilarious and so uniquely them....🙈🤭😅

The writing was excellent. The transition from hate to love was so seamless that I was completely on board. I ended up falling in love with two “unlikeable” characters. Though the premise is dark, it’s not a dark read. I was smiling through most of it. The author writes with a depth of emotion that I really appreciate, and all five senses are engaged. Nice and spicy too. I wish I could read this book for the first time again!
