About the authors
Lisa likes to tell stories, mostly with hot guys and happily ever afters.
Lisa lives in tropical North Queensland, Australia. She doesn't know why, because she hates the heat, but she suspects she's too lazy to move. She spends half her time slaving away as a government minion, and the other half plotting her escape.
She attended university at sixteen, not because she was a child prodigy or anything, but because of a mix-up between international school systems early in life. She studied History and English, neither of them very thoroughly.
She shares her house with too many cats, a dog, a green tree frog that swims in the toilet, and as many possums as can break in every night. This is not how she imagined life as a grown-up.
Lisa has been published since 2012, and was a LAMBDA finalist for her quirky, awkward coming-of-age romance Adulting 101, and a Rainbow Awards finalist for 2019’s Anhaga.
Sarah started life in New Zealand. She came to Australia for a working holiday, loved it, and never left. She lives in Western Australia with her partner, two cats, two dogs and a life-size replica TARDIS.
She spends half her time at a day job and the rest of her time reading and writing about clueless men falling in love, with a dash of humour and spice thrown in along the way.
Her proudest achievements include having adult kids who will still be seen with her in public, the ability to make a decent sourdough loaf, and knowing all the words to Bohemian Rhapsody.
She has co-authored both the Bad Boyfriends, Inc and the Adventures in Aguillon series with Lisa Henry. Socially Orcward, the third book in the Aguillon series, was runner up in the Best Asexual Book category in 2021's Rainbow Awards.

I would buy this book just for the new novella alone. It's SO good.
I loved this cute and quirky short story about Trey and Scout. Even when Scout was freaking out he knew what he wanted, or rather, who he wanted. I thought this was such a fun little story to read, I just wish it was longer!
Romancing Dalton Beauregard; Rating: 4.5/5.
In this story we got to see Marty try to romance Dalton, and things didn't exactly go to plan... I thought this story was full of humor and it was so adorable. I loved watching Marty try to plan out his romantic plans for Dalton, and I felt sympathy for him when they didn't go as intended. The scene where he books the French film left me giggling, I was not expecting that to happen, and oh my gosh was it hilarious! "It turned out that romancing Dalton Beauregard didn’t have to be some grand gesture with a boombox or a candygram. And it didn’t have to be out of a Hallmark movie like a picnic or a romantic candlelit dinner. It just had to be me and him being us. Being together, and being in love."
Make Up Sex; Rating: 4/5
Casey and Briar's story is so sweet and full of heat. I love the openness that these two men have with each other, they are both extremely supportive of each other and that shows in volumes in this short story. I enjoyed being able to revisit these characters, and seeing Casey realize his inner, (and outer) beauty.
Pitch Hitter; Rating: 4/5
I think this has been the steamiest one so far out of the other short stories. Nash was supposed to be meeting a guy he met on Grindr, but said guy stood him up. But as luck has it an older gentlemen asks him to join him for dinner, and that man is everything he has ever wanted.
Nash and Paul's story was full of steam, acceptance, and southern charm. I don't read a lot of Daddy/Boy books, it isn't my cup of tea, but this one wasn't bad! It wasn't the main focus of the story, which I personally enjoyed, but it was still prominent as that was what Nash was looking for. Overall another great story!
Reunion; Rating: 5/5
I LOVED THIS!! I have absolutely adored every single book that has been apart of the Alpha Tau series, and this short story encompassed the whole series so beautifully. We got to see how each and every characters lives are now, what they are up to, and we were able to see these characters reconnecting with each other after a long time apart. I really liked the multiple perspectives we got within this short, it was incredible to get one more glimpse of each character. This was really well written, and while it is a short story, you don't feel as though it is with how much is packed into it.
All in all, this collection was fabulous, magnificent, and very enjoyable to read. I'm sad to see this series end, but this was such a unique and fun way to wrap up this series.
Bro Jobs - Sweet enjoyable prelude novella to the Alpha Tau series. Scout and Trey seamlessly go from roommates to bros to boyfriends. There’s no angst, just bros being bros.
Romancing Dalton Beauregard - Marty has plans for an epic romantic gesture for Dalton. It’s Marty so it’s not just one gesture and things don’t always go to plan. I’ll just say a squirrel, a boombox and an Arthouse film are just the beginning!
Make Up xxx - Casey and Briar have a romantic weekend away in which Casey embraces his princess persona.
Pinch Hitter - Nash has a date but is stood up. That is until “Hot Suit Guy” (aka Paul) at the next table asks Nash to join him leading to a toe curling encounter with his soon to be boyfriend.
Reunion - 10 years have passed since graduation and the Alpha Tau brothers are together for a wedding.
Briar is the stressed out planner of the wedding but Casey gives him a wonderful surprise in the parking lot of a fast food outlet to help ease his stress.
Archer and Eli are hunting for the perfect house. Archer is the best man so is also planning the last minute bachelor party at the same time. Look at them being adults!
Tanner just retired from playing professional baseball overseas. He and Charlie are returning to new jobs, a new place to live and a new chapter in their lives.
Dalton and Marty had a change of plans resulting in fatherhood which led to a bucket load of “change of plans” in their life.
Scout and Trey aka The Grooms. Fourteen months of stress planning the wedding with Briar all worthwhile when finally the wedding part is over and the marriage part begins. The identity of the ice sculpture culprit is finally revealed and that’s not the only surprise.

It is a collection of bonus stories you may have read before and a final reunion which is new.
I love Scout and Trey’s story and have read it multiple times, it is short and sweet and shows more of the real Scout character as does the final reunion. My favourite character has always been Marty even though his ADHD mind wears me out showing me how well written it is! The older Marty in the final story showed his progression and maturity and what a truly wonderful human he is. The original Marty story showed how he was often misunderstood due to his ADHD but the reunion showed how he managed it and embraced it as an adult.
The bonus scene with Casey and Briar I felt was a little different to the others and much more emotional, the vulnerability of Casey and his true love for Briar shone through. It allowed me on their emotional journey with them.
The pinch hitter was a short story that tied up a loose end from the Romeo and Juliet book. It was a good quick read my only complaint is I always want more!
The final reunion story showed how they had all progressed and matured but still showed their previously personalities and without any spoilers I loved the engagement story to complete a happy ending and extend Trey & Scout’s story.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review, which I have given. However I had already preordered it as I knew I would not be disappointed!
