The search and push for Ukraine to accept their losses in the Russian war against Ukraine by ceding parts of Ukraine to Russia may not be enough for Putin. [It means] that if I’m winning, that means you’re losing, and if you’re winning, that means I’m losing, so I better change that. There’s no such […]

Putin thought he could take Kyiv in a few days. Fifteen months later, his mercenaries and army are fighting each other. Details on the situation are coming fast and furious, with many reporters, diplomats, and politicians sifting through contradictory statements and unproven claims. But here’s where things stand at 7 p.m. ET. Preview Open

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the news that a far left House Democrat is leaving in June to take a job in the private sector, leaving Dems with one less vote for five months. They also react to Vladimir Putin announcing that Russia is suspending participation in the most recent START agreement that Biden though was such a grand achievement in 2021. They also wonder what the U.S. is really ready to do if China gets more aggressive in aiding the Russian war effort. Finally, they roll their eyes as Don Lemon is allowed to return to CNN but will be required to undergo “formal training” after his comments about women being past their prime last week. In addition, they take a deeper look into the venomous, sometimes racist comments unleashed against Haley because she happens to be on the political right.

Russia now has five reasons for suspending their compliance with the New START Treaty. Chief appears to be a complaint taken out of the Iran playbook and that is Iran’s refrain that the US ‘rules’ re the international system are an example of the “great arrogance.” As in who gave the US the right to […]

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud the direct and devastating attack from GOP New Mexico gubernatorial candidate Mark Ronchetti, as he blasted Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham for grabbing the crotch of a male staffer, claiming she did nothing wrong, but also paying the staffer $150,000 to settle the complaint while forbidding the staffer from discussing the matter publicly. Ronchetti was also very effective at calling out the governor for imposing lockdowns she violated on numerous occasions. They also cringe over the latest consumer inflation numbers that come in worse than expected and prove higher prices aren’t going anywhere for awhile. Finally, they slam Politico Europe for naming Vladimir Putin as their top “green” figure because ending dependence upon Russian energy will force a revolution in renewables – ignoring the reality of people freezing to death and facing astronomical energy costs.

Join Jim and Greg as they marvel at Israel selling an air defense system to the UAE, demonstrating the success of the Abraham Accords and best chance at stability in the Middle East. They also cringe as Russian soldiers are going house to house in eastern Ukrainian provinces, forcing them to vote in favor of leaving Ukraine and joining Russia.  And that’s on top of Vladimir Putin threatening more directly than ever that he might use nukes. Finally, they call out the “gender-inclusive” insanity at the Air Force Academy, where cadets are encouraged to stop using words like mom, dad, boyfriend, and girlfriend.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the House GOP decision to put an agenda before the voters this year on the biggest issues where the Democrats have failed. They also discuss a former vice president from the EcoHealth Alliance stating under oath that COVID was a result of gain of function research in Wuhan funded in part by the National Institutes of Health. And they wince as Vladimir Putin orders 300,000 reservists to fight against Ukraine, while noting that these new soldiers are probably far less competent than the ones that have already failed.

Join Jim and Greg as they breathe a sigh of relief that a rail workers strike is averted, although they’re curious to see the terms of the agreement. They also sigh as Biden again claims costs are going down as he hails the announcement. They’re also pleasantly surprised to see New York Times columnist Tom Friedman scolding the left to get serious about fossil fuel production as a way both to help Europeans in the face of Putin cutting off natural gas and for the U.S. to produce energy at levels that renewables cannot possibly match. Then they roll their eyes as the left freaks out over red state governors sending a few migrants to blue parts of the country but as no interest in dealing with the thousands of people crossing our southern border illegally every day. Finally, they remember former Independent Counsel Ken Starr and how the Democrats and the media turned him into a villain for investigating the unconscionable conduct of President Clinton.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up one good martini and two crazy ones. After sharing their reflections on 21 years since the 9/11 attacks, they welcome the news that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is shoving Russian forces way back – in some cases all the way back to Russia. But Jim warns of a dark possibility after this good news. They also unload on Vice President Kamala Harris telling Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” that the border is secure because the administration wants it to be secure – and that any problems are due to the Trump administration. Finally, they slam the door on the ludicrous argument of Democrats and other lefties that the January 6th riots were comparable to the 9/11 attacks or even worse.

Join Jim and Greg as they continue their week of special podcasts. Today, they take a grim look back at August 2021 and the disgraceful, chaotic, and deadly U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. They walk through the Biden administration’s missteps before, during, and after the Taliban took control of Kabul. They also recognize the heroism of U.S. veterans who refused to leave their Afghan friends to the brutality of the Taliban and worked feverishly to get them out of the country. And they examine the ways that America’s perceived weakness around the world has impacted events throughout the world.

Join Jim and Greg as they call out President Biden for his tired act of blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for our inflation crisis. The war has contributed to the problem, but it was never the main driver of inflation. They also chronicle how Biden is about to completely flip from vowing to make Saudi Arabia a pariah state to begging it to produce more oil. And they shake their heads as two of Michigan’s most prominent GOP candidates for governor fail to make the primary ballot over fraudulent petitions.

We were told that Trump was Putin’s stooge. That his election was the result of “Russian Collusion.” Never mind the sanctions or lack of evidence, Trump was Putin’s preferred president, right? Well, according to former national security official Fiona Hill, Putin waited until Trump left office before invading Ukraine. Hill, who previously testified against Trump […]

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome a new congressional map in New York that should give Republicans better chances to win more seats than the heavily gerrymandered version from Democrats that multiple courts have struck down. They’re also pleasantly surprised to see Russian President Vladimir Putin say Sweden and Finland joining NATO will not be seen as a direct threat to Russia. And Jim takes a deep dive into the skyrocketing cost of diesel fuel, what’s behind it, and what the consequences will be.
