    🚀 Our Founder, Evan Weber, Dropping Knowledge with Julia Draghici of CPV One! 🚀 1️⃣ Tracking is Key 🕵️♂️: A good tracking platform like CPV Lab or CPV One is crucial. Often, ad platforms’ tracking (including Google Analytics) isn't accurate. A first-party tracking platform lets you drop your own cookie to see what channels are converting leads or sales accurately. 2️⃣ Bidding Strategies Matter 🎯: The wrong bidding strategy can make your cost per click (CPC) too high. Experiment with strategies like Target CPA, Target ROAS, or manual CPC. I prefer manual CPC enhanced for conversions to control the cost. Aim to get traffic around $1 per click or less for a good ROI. 3️⃣ Search Terms Report 🔍: Check it regularly! Broad match keywords can bring in irrelevant traffic. Review and refine your keywords by marking irrelevant terms as negative. Do this weekly to avoid wasting money on irrelevant clicks. 4️⃣ Ad Copy & Campaign Types ✍️: Compelling ad copy and effective display ads are crucial. For e-commerce, I prefer standard shopping campaigns over Performance Max (PMax). Standard campaigns allow better control over CPC and targeting. Focus on products that convert well and minimize the budget for those that don’t. 5️⃣ Conversion Optimization 📈: Always work on improving conversions. Properly manage your account to tap into its full potential. Many miss out on their daily search volume because they don’t convert well enough or don’t budget appropriately. 🌐 PMax vs. Standard Campaigns 🌐: Don’t solely rely on PMax campaigns. I run individual campaign types and allocate a small percentage to PMax. This ensures control over CPC and gets the most relevant traffic for the lowest cost. 🤖 Trust the System? 🤖: I don’t. Automation can’t replace experienced management. For those with less experience, relying on PMax might seem easier, but you lose control over your budget allocation and CPC. Control is crucial to drive revenue and reinvest in your campaigns. In short, managing Google Ads effectively requires a hands-on approach and constant optimization.
