By highlighting practical components, Erik empowered attendees to use Generative AI for developing advanced chatbots, offering key insights into the role of webhooks in enhancing these systems. By studying their behavior when exposed to cocaine, researchers aimed to gain a better understanding of the neurological and behavioral mechanisms underlying addiction. The talk delved into the network-based measures revealed through the analysis of fruit flies' social interaction networks, showcasing a data-driven approach to better understand the genetic and environmental factors influencing both drug addiction and social behavior. Since 2005, he has led successful projects like CLARITY, DRIVER+, CRISMA, ENVIROFI, and SANY, focusing on climate adaptation, crisis management, and environmental informatics. in his talk, Denis will discuss the challenges of climate change communication, focusing on combating misinformation from a "loud minority." He'll highlight the role of generative AI in improving communication and introduce the MAIA project, which uses AI-assisted knowledge extraction with expert oversight to ensure reliable climate information is shared. 🎤 Fabio Eupen is a Data Scientist at our partnering company BE-terna. He will be joining us from Austria to deliver his talk titled: "How to optimize stock with an Automated Logistics and Intelligent Supply chain Assistant" Fabio is part of an international team spanning the DACH and Adriatics regions.
