🚀From Procurement Specialist to Account Director: Discover Dawn’s incredible 17-year journey at Arvato! Dawn Downey is our Account Director, based in Dublin, Ireland. She takes responsibility for our tech clients and leads a team overseeing operations in Europe, Singapore and the US. In her day-to-day work, she spends a lot of time with our clients, trying to understand their pain points and finding out where we can offer them a suitable solution. Dawn appreciates our open-minded environment where she can brainstorm and find solutions together with her highly experienced team. A combination of challenge, learning, and collaboration keeps her work “fresh, engaging, and incredibly rewarding”, she says. Dawn has been part of our Team Arvato for over 17 years: The now 38-year-old mother of two young children originally joined as a Procurement Specialist, then developed within our company through various roles to become the leader of 16 team members in 2017. Moving from procurement to a commercial role gave her a unique opportunity to develop a more comprehensive understanding of our business landscape, allowing her to gain valuable new insights. Our goal was to raise awareness and educate our team on the importance of LGBTQIA+ rights and history. After her Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, six months abroad in Madrid and a Master's degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation, she has now been working with us at our Gütersloh office in Germany for two years. Leleka is an advanced robotic arm designed to automate the picking and sorting of fashion items in our warehouse in Hannover in Germany.
