Общие сведения

I have always been driven to create tangible contributions that benefit society, and this has been the guiding force behind my career.

My journey began as a researcher in the Laboratory of Nonlinear Optics, where I eventually took on the responsibility of overseeing experiments and analyzing research in the field of photonics and materials science.

Later, I transitioned into the role of the head of a machine-building enterprise. Given the broad product range and the high degree of localized production, I not only handled product design and further management from scratch to serial, but also directly led the R&D processes in engineering and physics.

You can read more about my work experience, list of scientific works, volunteer activities and etc. below.

Oh yes, and thanks for reading this far.

A number of factors determining the dynamics of hole formation is proposed. These effects depend on the density of the composite as well as on the viscosity of the liquefied material.

has been studied. It is established that the main process occurring in the zone of laser radiation is the melting of the ceramic surface of chromium carbide and the formation of a crater. This process is accompanied by the ejection of melt droplets from the crater zone and the dissociation of chromium carbides. As a result, the crater area is enriched in such ablation products as Cr, C, CO, and CO2. Reduction of hydrogen in the crater zone and neighboring areas leads to slowing down of the rate of oxidation processes, and the presence of ablation products such as Cr and C atoms promotes the process of synthesis of oxycarbides CrxCyOz (x ≈ 0.3–0.8, y ≈ 0.03–0.3, z ≈ 0.61–0.26) in the gas phase. Emission of the newly formed products of ablation from the crater and their distribution to the neighboring areas is accompanied by coagulation of nanoparticles into clusters. Depending on the length of flight of nanoclusters through different temperature zones and temperature of the deposition surface, oxycarbides with different morphology are formed: from islets (like fractal clusters) to film ones. The deposited ablation products are characterized by the signs of particle size “separation.” This makes it possible to create films of a given type and purpose. The passage of particles of different sizes through a gaseous medium containing oxygen is accompanied by the oxidation of oxycarbides to Cr2O3.

The synthesis of composite ceramics based on these compounds extends considerably area of application of this type of materials.

The purpose of this paper is to study:
    1) phase transformations that occur in the zone of local high-power stationary laser heating of TiN - TiB2 ceramics in the air, and
    2) morphology and composition of films formed from the ablation products.

The aim 1) is of interest from the standpoint of degradation of composite ceramics at high temperatures under the conditions of the formation of a narrow crater, which is difficult for the atmosphere oxygen to enter. The aim 2) is of interest as a new LCVD method of coating a complex composition by sprayed ceramics.

It has been established that, as a result of high-temperature laser heating, the melting of Cr23C6, formation of a crater, ejection of melt drops, and dissociation of chromium carbide (Cr23C6 → Сr + C) inside the crater occur. The enrichment of the gaseous atmosphere of the crater in atomic carbon leads to the formation of a СO/CO2 atmosphere, retardation of oxidation processes and, as a result, the synthesis of chromium oxycarbides CrxCyOz, where x ~ (0.3–0.8), y ~ (0.03–0.3), and z ~ (0.61–0.26) in the vapor–gas phase. As the laser cloud expands, the processes of formation, coagulation and coalescence of ultra nanoparticle/clusters, and then crystallization of large formations occur. Due to the presence of particles with different sizes in the gaseous atmosphere, precipitation products show signs of “separation”: finer particles precipitate at a larger distance from the crater than coarser particles. This makes possible to obtain CrxCyOz coatings of different morphology, namely, island-, film-, and mixed-type coatings.

  • Coupled wave method and nonlinear propagation of polychromatic optical pulses in nonlinear photonic crystals (in Russian)

59th MIPT Scientific Conference, Dolgoprudniy, Russia

Nowadays photonic crystals (nonlinear materials with periodic dielectric structure) are used widely in a great number of industries, from polarizers and beam splitters to lasers (in this paper, nonlinear photonic crystals will be considered).

We obtain a set of nonlinear equations for pulses propagating in the forward and reverse directions using the method of connected waves. This analysis includes temporal and transverse structures, as well as losses and periodic nonlinear effects.
