BMB is excited to announce that another milestone is nearing its final destination! The company’s universal plating solution, Bonevolent AdhFix, is now ready for its final biocompatibility and animal transplantation study. The assessment of the sterilized products will be conducted by our partner RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in the second half of this year. With the completion of this, BMB will be prepared to undertake the next big milestone: First-in-Human clinical trials. BMB embarked on its journey to the ATiO 2024 meeting in Berlin! BMB was honored to attend this invitation-only event hosted by the Alliance for Advanced Therapies in Orthopaedics (ATiO) this year. To say the least, 2023 was an exciting and successful year in many ways! Together with our partners, we published several papers, produced over 600 devices in a cleanroom environment and received great attention and a seal of excellence. Now, we are (among other things) preparing for the important packaging tests. However, I took the opportunity to ask the team if there are any other deliverables of which we are particularly proud of. And listen to this:   - Over 300 AdhFix-kits are sent to our partners for testing related to the verification of the final product. - Significant progress, in building the QMS. - The team has also qualified and validated our instruments.   Thanks! New publication – AdhFix mechanically superior… Do not miss this intriguing publication in this fine magazine, Veterinary Surgery 2023:1-9! Here, AdhFix was tested and found to be mechanically superior to K-wires and comparable to plate fixation for adjunctive fixation in a lateral humeral condylar model. Humeral condylar fractures are commonly encountered in veterinary surgery (especially in dogs). We are excited to push forward this innovative solution.
