    Disruptive news! A new ai model lets you add a picture of a person + a product image which combined creates a virtual try-on solution. Could be huge for e-shop conversions. We gave it a quick try as you can on image of Felix Civalero Stolpe below. The model is pretty good already, in a few months there will likly be a few start-ups offering this to implement on site.     We can finally measure Organic ROI! 🎉 Most DTC e-commerce brands spend resources on organic social media, but very few actually know what return they get from it. How many sales did we get from organic SoMe this month? Should we continue to invest? Is it worth it? The struggle is real when there is no truth, no evidence, no data to base decisions on. This has led to many e-coms getting stuck in "annonsträsket" (eng: ads swamp), because the ads platforms just give a simple roas number, lovely. As a brand tho, you know that ads are not gonna help you win long-term. Especially for those trying to build community. "We're going to build an amazing community by spending all our budget on ads" - said no one ever. All brand owners knows this by heart. It's harder for a CMO, CFO, or even CEO to agree b/c they are responsible for many marketing activities and they wanna see ROI. They should want to see that, that's resonable. The best solution to get out of "annonsträsket" is ofc to actually be able to see ROI on the organic channels. This is only real way to actually challenge ads. The Growhouse team have worked on this problem for the past months and we can finally say that we've found the best way to see sales , add-to-carts, visits, email subscriptions and other fun conversion events that stem from content posted on social media platforms.     Building a money generatig SaaS product from scratch. Let us grab a nice cup of espresso and rant about the key take-aways I've learned from that journey. 🥷 Indie-Hacking Indie hacking is the direct opposite to traditional corporate structures and extensive planning. Choosing this approach provided me with two valuable aspect in software development - speed and flexibility. Why do I love the indie hacking approach so much? Because it quickly answers the most important question in any business: Will people use it? Getting this answer as quickly as possible minimizes the risk of ending up with an expensive, resource-heavy product that struggles to find users ❌. 🎯 Niche, niche, niche, niche! While indie-hacking is the development approach, you need to have a market in which you can apply this approach to. At heart, Growhouse is a marketing agency. Generally, marketing agencies have lots of individual talent capable of solving a broad spectrum of problems. However, being broad appears to be the greatest threat to success in software. Because when Growhouse narrowed its focus to solely helping clients with one thing – Organic Growth – things changed quickly. Not only did Growhouse become more specialized, but it also allowed me to identify patterns among our clients since we now discussed one unified topic over and over again. 👂Pay attention Clients have all the answers you need, and in this case the answer revealed itself in the most unexpected ways: New to the world of marketing agencies, I quickly became aware of the forever ongoing dilemma: All your potential clients desperately crave your services, but there is never any budget. Normally, we would put them in the "No Budget" section in HubSpot and try to arrange meetings with higher ups. But one day, we asked the simplest question: "What would you need in order to get a larger budget?" We listened to the answers across several sales meetings, and the common denominator became obvious. Suddenly, the solution (aka product) unraveled itself from the continuous setbacks in our sales meetings. 🏎️ Act quick All that was left was a weekend of indie-hacking, and we had our first SaaS product live with five test users the following week. Being in a niche market with an indie hacking approach provides us with ⚡️ lightweight and 🌏 scalable software, with the ability to act quickly on feedback from customers. Rant over. 🐌🚀 Slow and steady we grow.
