What do you do if your marketing campaigns lack creativity?
One of the strongest threats to creativity is the fragmentation of marketing. As most marketing departments operate in an increasing number of activities and channels (the majority uses over 16), the resources for creativity are crumbling. So, one of the most impactful things you can do to increase creativity is to defragment marketing. This means doing fewer activities in fewer channels. Doing so allows you to spend more creative time on each marketing activity and allocate more money for creation (agencies, video production, photo, etc.).
