We build quantum sensors for Navigation and Resource Exploration

About us

Atomionics is a Singapore based VC-backed startup building quantum sensors for Navigation and Resource Exploration. We measure gravity, acceleration, and rotation 1000x better than the state of the art. Atomionics sensors can build a complete map of the underground, thus help pinpoint underground structures like tunnels and bunkers, and predict earthquakes, provide precise navigation, and build a universal positioning system that works everywhere – underground, underwater, and even in space. We have deep expertise in bringing complex technologies from a lab environment to the dynamic real world. At Atomionics we like to cultivate a casual and friendly environment. We are a small focused group in a high-energy environment. The core of what we are building is called cold atom interferometry, where we cool down atoms to micro Kelvin temperatures by shooting lasers at them. Our team has over 30 years of combined relevant research experience. This allows us to measure the forces acting on them precisely. Due to the complexity of our work, our employees get to interact with other interdisciplinary domains such as Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Software Engineering. Our company likes to treat our work as a “gym for our minds”. In addition, we are backed by some fantastic investors from the private and public sectors, such as Wavemaker, SGInnovate, Capvista, 500startups, and other prominent angels.

🤩Here in Singapore to admire Atomionics, a revolutionary AI quantum sensor platform for 3D mapping underground - offers unprecedented accuracy and efficiency at 10,000x better resolution, 20x faster, and 1/10th the cost. 🚀Dreaming big isn’t always the norm in Asian society. Visions like these can be fragile without the right support, and brilliant ideas can be stifled without sufficient room for trial and error. But who says there can’t be a $100B mining company that doesn’t do mining? Behind this humble lab door, something extraordinary is unfolding... 🌌And this is just the beginning. The galaxy is the limit for you guys, Sahil Tapiawala. Excited for what’s to come and privileged to be part of and support the ride. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” - Eleanor Roosevelt #Quantum #AI #DeepTech #DualUse #FutureOfMining #EnergyTransition #ResourceExploration #Moonshot #DreamBigAimHigh #Venture #Sustainability #Impact #Singapore SGInnovate SEEDS Capital IQT (In-Q-Tel) PASPALIS VU Venture Partners
