🚢 As part of our Group’s commitment to nurturing aspiring maritime professionals, we have partnered with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) for the Global Internship Award (GIA). This 12-week program provides invaluable hands-on experience in the maritime industry.   ✈️ Meet Jimmy Sum, one of this year’s GIA interns! A second-year student at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Jimmy has been making waves at #CNC’s Asia-Pacific Regional Office in Singapore and at CMA CGM’s Head Office in Marseille, France!   🌍 Jimmy is developing an innovative simulation tool to support line managers in assessing and forecasting critical attributes, enhancing decision-making and boosting profitability across our Intra-Asia operations.

Our team in Indonesia joined forces with the NGO, Langit Biru Pertiwi, for a meaningful conservation initiative on Pramuka Island. A group of 30 employees, customers, and partners came together to give back to nature. 🌿 From setting free adorable baby turtles back into their natural home to planting 1,000 mangrove trees for crucial coastline protection, and even cultivating and releasing 40 newly cultivated coral reefs to boost marine life, we're proud to contribute to the restoration of Pramuka Island's precious ecosystem! 🌳🪸   #ActingForPlanet #Betterways #Sustainability #MarineConservation

In celebration of World Nature Conservation Day, our team joined forces with the Ocean Purpose Project on a coastal clean-up and eco-gardening initiative in Pasir Ris, Singapore. 30 dedicated CNC volunteers rolled up their sleeves to collect 55.5kg of waste and seaweed, demonstrating our commitment to preserving our marine environment.🌊♻️ Beyond the beach clean-up, we contributed to OPP's herb garden by planting 15 trees and herbs. Our APAC Regional Office and Philippines team hosted a hybrid conference on “Tackling Plastic Pollution” with The Plastic Flamingo - Plastic recyclers (PLAF) as part of our Plastic Free July® initiative. 🌿 The event emphasised the urgent need to address plastic pollution and the power of collective action in protecting marine life and the environment. CNC has launched the Yangon Singapore Express (YSX) service on 24 June, offering a direct connection for cargo movement between Singapore and Yangon, Myanmar. 🚢 The YSX service operates on a weekly basis, catering specifically to Yangon's import and export needs. 🚢 By connecting Yangon to Singapore, a major regional hub, cargoes bound for markets afar can leverage on CNC's intra-regional connections and CMA CGM Group's global reach.
