#TeamFullertonHealth had an incredible time at the Health & Wellness Carnival, where we teamed up with UOB to promote healthy living! The event was held at the UOB Privilege Banking Centre at Marine Parade on 15 Aug. One of the event's key highlights was an informative session by Dr. Muntasir Mannan Choudhury, Senior Consultant Hand Surgeon at Alpha Joints & Orthopaedics. Dr. Choudhury delivered a comprehensive talk on various hand conditions and shed light on crucial topics such as the importance of early diagnosis and preventive measures to maintain optimal hand health. It was an enlightening session that provided valuable knowledge to all attendees, helping them understand how to care for their hands and wrists better. Sowing the seeds for future generations! The social sustainability movement has gained momentum in the last several years as businesses and organisations respond to increasing demands from a wide range of stakeholders — investors, customers, regulators, employees, and communities — to adopt more sustainable practices. Our Gen Zs and Gen Alphas will play a pivotal role in these conversations and initiatives, given that they are the next generation entering the workforce. #TeamFullertonHealth is proud to collaborate with Ngee Ann Polytechnic to launch a Corporate Purpose Internship (CPI) programme, which is open to Year 3 students across all 36 diplomas. Students will get the opportunity to apply their domain skills and knowledge to social impact projects relevant to the business strategy of their internship company, learning that doing good can help companies do well. The event took place on Aug 1, at the launch of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Centre for Organisational Resilience and Inclusion (CORI), which provides training, consultancy and research in human system design to enable organisations and communities to grow inclusion and resilience in the face of increasing diversity and adversity.
