𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐔𝐒-𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒! 🎉 At the NUS-ISS Annual Luncheon 2024, Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information, and Minister-in-charge of Smart Nation and Cybersecurity, graced the event as the Guest-of-Honour. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 Minister Teo emphasised the important role of institutes such as NUS-ISS in supporting the Singapore government's digitalisation and Smart Nation initiatives. She highlighted NUS-ISS' solid foundations and the graduation of 178,000 professionals through various programmes. Minister Teo shared inspiring stories from the session with the 8 NUS-ISS alumni, highlighting how we can embrace technology to enhance our human capabilities and create new opportunities for growth and progression. 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 We proudly recognised 21 recipients of the Long Service Awards, celebrating their dedication from 5 years to 30 years of service. Congratulations to Mr Chan Meng Khoong, our Chief Executive Officer, for receiving the 10 Years Long Service Award, and Mrs Hui Yuen Yum, Director of Executive Education and Corporate Services, for her remarkable 30 years of service. Their commitment and hard work have been integral to our success. Initiatives like the Data Science Leadership Programme with Ayala Corporation and the FedEx Institute of Technology partnership at The University of Memphis ensure that we continue to establish digital skills academies with global partners.
