Earlier this month in #Jakarta, Meet Ventures organized a fireside chat session and workshop with Digital Disruptors in Indonesia's Healthcare industry. We invited Bu Elisa from DoctorTool (PT Medifa Infoyasa Suryantara), Pak Wilson Wijaya from Dea Mirabelle, Pak Aristo from igaku and Dr Made Savitra from AMAN. We also had Bu' Reza from Bio Farma - Indonesia at another session. These disruptors are driving positive change through digitalization in the healthcare industry. Our 50 over participants from the Jakarta Industry Immersion Program 2024 (powered by National Youth Council Singapore) got a chance to understand better about Indonesia's healthcare system, the transformations it is undergoing, the demands from the B2B and B2C perspective and so on. After the Q&A session, the undergraduates met in small groups and had more questions for the respective healthcare business leaders. Earlier this month, under the Jakarta Industry Immersion Program 2024 (powered by National Youth Council Singapore), Meet Ventures brought our 50 over participants for an industry visit to Indigo at Telkom Indonesia for a sharing session. Our youth participants from Singapore were very fascinated to understand the role the Indigo performs in startup incubation and acceleration in Indonesia, particularly in certain niche industries like gaming. They got an opportunity to understand better the digital and startup ecosystem, powered by Indigo and Telkom Indonesia. Our Singapore undergraduate participants come from the following universities: National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Singapore Management University, Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Management, Imperial College London, UCL We hope they enjoyed their industry visit to Indigo, and understand better the digital & startup ecosystem in Indonesia. We led a delegation to Jakarta from 5 to 9 August 2024. Earlier this week, the Meet Ventures Team and I led a #Jakarta Industry Immersion Study Program (powered by National Youth Council Singapore) for 50+ University Undergraduates and Young Working Adults interested in the Tech, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship space. During the trip, we engaged in various insightful activities, including: - Visiting an Indonesian Government Agency for Digital Transformation under the Ministry of Industry - Having a fireside chat with healthcare startups driving the digitalization of the industry - Exploring Telkom Indonesia support for local and foreign startups - Conducting a workshop involving GLC Bio Farma - Indonesia - Visiting the city government of Depok's Incubator - Exploring townships PIK and BSD - Engaging in a fireside chat with Sinarmas Land Head of Venture Fund This 5-day immersion aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of our neighbors' TIE industry ecosystem. It was designed to equip our participants, the future industry leaders of #Singapore, with insights into the journey of our neighbors - from their beginnings to their aspirations. The goal is to foster collaboration and drive the collective growth of the ASEAN-China-India region.
