This past weekend, Orijin Plus system detected an unusual pattern when a user scanned multiple yogurts beyond the usual threshold within a specific timeframe. This anomaly prompted our customer service team to reach out. Upon investigation, we were pleased to find not an issue, but a delighted customer! The increased activity was due to the successful combination of setting a triple points promotion to align with in-store tasting. Busy week with a large number delegates in Singapore for Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) and Singapore International Agri-Food Week (SIAW). Great to attend a networking gathering hosted by Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) Singapore, Trade and Investment Queensland, Invest and Trade Western Australia and Department of Trade and Investment, South Australia for the wide range of 30 companies visiting and Singapore partners - many in the tech field including healthcare,agriculture, trade, cybersecurity and sustainable technologies. Great to see new partnerships being created such as between Western Australian food traceability tech company Orijin Plus and partner Trustana of Singapore and to meet the key players James Williamson and Ankit Sachdev. A diverse array of South Australian tech players have also been in town including consultancy Indentifly - good to meet Aaron Finnis CISM CISSP and Mark Kay with whom I enjoyed a good conversation. Since then I have attended an important breakfast forum today hosted by Trade and Investment Queensland -Synthetic Biology & the Future of Food which highlighted the big potential to partner with Queensland business in the development of the food sources of the future including those based on precision fermentation technology. Enjoyed meeting Chris Downs of Australia's Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA) - ex CSIRO - a panellist at the event to hear about the Accelerator’s progress. Also good to catch up with Northern Territory partners including Kevin Mulvahil of AusNorth Trading Pty Ltd and Ben Tyler of Kakadu Kitchen attending SIAW. Looking forward to visiting Singapore International Agri-Food Week tomorrow to meet a further range of partners.
