Heart Heroes in Action! In collaboration with Changi Airport Group and Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF), we held a two-day event to raise awareness for heart health. Four stations were set up to provide free non-fasting health checks to test for glucose and cholesterol levels for airport staff and members of the public. Through educational game booths set up by sponsors, participants also got to learn more about the importance of health health. During the health talk segment, participants got to enjoy delicious healthy bento sets as Dr Sian-Tsung Tan, Specialist in Cardiology and Consultant, Raffles Heart Centre, debunked common myths surrounding heart health, and shared tips on how one can take better care for their ❤. We were honoured to host 30 esteemed delegates from the World Organisation of Family Doctors (WONCA) who came from 12 different countries at Raffles Hospital yesterday. As the only private healthcare group in the WONCA pre-conference visits, we showcased Singapore’s healthcare landscape through our innovative Transitional Care Facilities and Telemedicine Services, which our international guests found intriguing. They also appreciated our model of integrating family medicine within a tertiary care hospital. 💗 A big thank you to the delegates for their engaging questions and insightful discussions.
