Must-read if you want to get hands-on experience with AI. Do this experiment: sign-up on ChatGPT and on Microsoft Copilot. Contact me with a personal message if you don't know how to do that. Then upload the picture below which is a Hexaco test result of a participant in my ongoing Entrepreneur Assessment study (see here for more information https://lnkd.in/gm33PTNP) to both the ChatGPT and the Copilot. Use the following prompt: "extract the Hexaco test results from the picture" Then compare both results with each other and with the information in the picture. My conclusion is: not bad but not perfect. And ChatGPT is better than Copilot. Proper training can certainly improve this, and providing the data in a better format can also improve that. And then copy/paste the same picture into the deterministic screenshot OCR online service structurise.com: https://lnkd.in/gDfjvyZE That one gives a perfect result. AI is not (yet) ready to be used for evaluating large amounts of measurement data in science and engineering. And even if it becomes ready, you always have to double-check manually.
