What do you do if your UX Research interview is filled with common mistakes?
1. Go back to the drawing board. What were your initial objectives and hypothesis. Map your questions to the objectives. Re-calibrate and iterate. 2. Reach out to a UX research peer or an expert and get the interview script assessed from a different perspective. 3. Do a mock interview with an internal team member and see where are your interview questions failing.

What do you do if your research skills are being tested in an interview?
1. Take your interviewer through an end to end research project that you have been part of. 2. Show them the roles you played, key insights that you found and outcomes of the research. 3. Understand what aspect of research would they want you to talk about and elaborate on that.

1. Start small - work with smaller organizations or projects within larger organizations to take them through an end to end UX research process. 2. Sports is a great way to bring out the collective spirit of children! On one hand it makes a connection between the diverse group and the coach and on the other hand it is a great medium to teach the principles of collectivity, team building, organization, self-discipline and self-motivation. Nonetheless, the underlying benefit of physical exercise is invaluable as well!
Coaching for me was a very different experience than playing football on my own. The diversity of the students-…Sports is a great way to bring out the collective spirit of children! On one hand it makes a connection between the diverse group and the coach and on the other hand it is a great medium to teach the principles of collectivity, team building, organization, self-discipline and self-motivation. Nonetheless, the underlying benefit of physical exercise is invaluable as well!
Coaching for me was a very different experience than playing football on my own. The diversity of the students- ranging from French, Spanish, German upper class families to Tamil lower economic class families made this experience even more gratifying and challenging!
Looking forward for more such opportunities. -

I am part of the Volunteering team from Standard Chartered Bank that works with Hong Kong Rugby Union to promote Rugby as a sport for all. As a part of this initiative, HKRU coaches the Deaf Rugby team and organizes multiple events where we can play as part of their teams or test our skills against their superb touchdowns!

The project was to imagine solutions to the current world problems and to come up with ideas for a brighter future by holding an interactive sessions with children aged 6-12 at private organizations and schools. To make it fun for the kids, we designed a Role Playing game where children were asked to explore their creative limits through storytelling and art & craft sessions.
