4. The refurbished laptops are now good to go to underprivileged children on two year loans, allowing the children to upgrade to newer machines as their hardware ages or ceases to be fit-for-purpose. Show less

bout the Program:

An annual 10 week program mentoring promising AI startups led by researchers and students from SUTD-MIT. The program focuses on business model validation with evidence-driven customer experimentation as they move towards deep technology commercialization.

The Pioneer Batch of the SMU Impact Accelerator brings together teams working to address society's most pressing challenges and is supported by the Lien Center for Social Innovation and the Singapore Management University.

Bringing together over 50 industry professionals and experts to address the issues of cyclical poverty in the (Government Subsidised 1-room HDB) area of Bukit Ho Swee area of Singapore, Under The Hood is a civic crowdsourcing experiment to build ground-up solutions to urban poverty. Supported by organisations including Bukit Ho Swee Family Service Center, UNDP, NVPC, Asia social Innovation Camp, Beyond and Evernote.

I volunteered two weeks of part-time mentorship for 2 teams, One winning the most innovative Product Award and the other the Internationalisation potential award.

Conducted a bootcamp for participants, teaching models for creating a social enterprise and bolstering the business models for their ideas with an interactive workshop.
