SCS is a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), a founding member of the Singapore Hospice Council (SHC), and a member of the Union of International Cancer Control (UICC). Being self-funded, the Society is dependent on donations to provide quality services to needy cancer patients, their families, and members of the public.

    Appointed as Chairman, Organising Committee of SCS-TalkMed Relay For Life 2023, which raised more than $1.1 million and gathered more than 4,000 participants. Served as member of Community Partnership Committee from Apr 2022 to Jul 2023.

SAS is managed by the Executive Committee and a team of management staff. The Executive Committee is in charge of setting the rules and regulations as well as the policies for the Society. All major decisions are considered and approved by the Executive Committee which comprises volunteers from different walks of life.

    Served on the Home Management & Quality Assurance Sub-Committee, Information Technology Sub-Committee, and Finance & Investment Sub-Committee.

    Served as Honorary Assistant Treasurer Sep 2020 - Sep 2022.

    Ran a charity campaign in 2021 called Talk For Fund and gave more than 30 public/corporate talks on COVID-19 vaccination, which raised more than $27,000 for SAS.
