About
Currently working as Deputy Director in Technology Department of PUB, The National Water Agency of Singapore and has over 30 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment. The focus is to implement research projects in PUB, and support PUB’s mission through technology, innovation, industry partnership, expertise development, and introduction of best practices. The section manages R&D projects in partnership with experts from local and overseas water industry players, academia and research institutes. These R&D projects cover strategic fields of water technology including water and wastewater treatment, chemical and biological water quality, membrane technology, and seawater desalination.
Mr Kiran has extensive operational experience and rich expertises in membrane technology, especially in areas of water re-use, wastewater treatment and Membrane Bioreactors. Currently, leading Industrial Water Projects Unit and promoting water recycling in industries.
