Peter Sin (沈贵利) currently serves as Vice Chairman of Singapore Teochew Sim Clan Association (新加坡潮州沈氏联合会) in its 33th Exco.
Previously, he served in dual capacity in the 32th Exco as Clan Treasurer & Chairman of Clan Youth Executive Committee (正财政, 青年团正团长).
His grandfather (沈怀基) is the an honorary chairman and held various leadership roles in the clan during the years 1970s-2000s.

Peter first joined Singapore Teochew Sim Clan Association (新加坡潮州沈氏联合会) in 2015 as a member and was subsequently elected to be part of its Executive Committee in Jan 2017 as Deputy Clan Treasurer & Chairman of Clan Youth Executive Committee with the portfolio to lead the youth team, expand youth membership base, organise and promote clan and inter-association activities that appeals to younger generation.

Passionate about how technology will transform the financial services landscape, Peter served as the Co-Head of Digital Currency Subcommittee of Singapore Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association (ACCESS), an association which promotes the use of blockchain technologies and digital currencies in Singapore.

As Co-Head of Digital Currency Subcommittee, Peter is responsible for spearheading consumer-centric public education on blockchain and digital currency to create awareness against digital crimes, and to advocate safe and responsible use of cryptocurrency by the masses.

During his tenure as Co-Head, Peter represented ACCESS as speaker and panelist at various fintech and blockchain seminars and conferences organised by both local and overseas financial institutions. He has also received interviews on local news media such as ChannelNewsAsia (CNA) and Lian He Zao Bao for his insights.
