I drove external communications and international media relations for Group/Asia, in addition to my role as Head of Corporate Affairs for Singapore. In 2021, I was part of the team defining the communications and media strategy for the listing of Prudential Group’s Share Offer on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Reporting to the Singapore CEO, I built and led a high-performing team responsible for corporate communications, government relations and community investments. I was the External Communications Lead for Group Wholesale Banking, Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, International Banking and Finance. Additionally, I was also the Lead and Spokesperson for UOB’s outreach programmes, including the UOB Painting of the Year Award – a world-class programme known for promoting and nurturing artistic talents across Asia.

I led media relations for Southeast Asia, advising CEOs of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand on media relations, corporate communications, and issues management. During my time with the company, I was part of the team defining the communications and media strategy in Asia for the integration of RBS and ABN AMRO in the region.

I joined ABN AMRO in 2007, and became part of RBS following a merger of the 2 Banks in Asia.

I shaped and produced the station’s longest-running business programme,Money Mind.
