Projects

  • Ideas Inc Business Challenge

The program is an accelerator program, sponsored by SPRING Singapore, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for helping Singapore enterprises grow.

Participated the program as an individual participant under the name Perfection Achieved, and submitted business proposal for Project Unlimited Skies. Nominated as a finalist but did was not selected for funding. However major highlights on the implementation was introduced and known.

  • Unlimited Skies

    - Present

Working in the conceptual design of a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft, which meets the Euro Crashworthiness standards, with the cost of a luxury vehicle.

Looks much like a car, drives like a car. How does driving at 150 kilometres per hour with autopilot and crash avoidance technologies sounds to you? Not to forget that it can park nicely, right in the middle of all the borders of the parking lot.

Best part? If it can't fly, it can still drive.

Was responsible for modelling the electrical systems, which contributed to the final outcome of energy representation in terms of fuel burn.

Went on ahead to look into conceptual systems design, where mechanical anti-torque systems are replaced with electrical variants. Assessment and trade analysis was done, along with impact implementation on various aspects.

  • MSc Aerospace Vehicle Design - Group Design Project F-14 Hermes - Propeller Systems Design

    -

This project was developed during seven months by 95 students of 24 different nationalities. The aim was to design a civil multi-purpose air freighter being given a component to each of the students, distinguishing the structural parts from systems and avionics. Two versions were carried out: the conventional and the Short Take-Off and Landing, and for these two designs were also developed using metallic and composite materials, ending up with four variants of the F-14 Hermes.

Graduation thesis to look into the assessment of hybrid powerplant architectures in propeller based aircrafts. Assessment included critical analysis of various hybrid powerplant configurations, as well as the comparision of the differences. Simulation of configuration efficiency was done in Matlab to compare and verify between configurations.
