    In this project, we designed and build a test Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle equipped with Siren, Search Light, Strobe light and Video Downlink equipment. The ease to operate is also a major consideration of this aircraft. Being able to fly autonomously using GPS way points and having a user friendly GUI reduce the workload of the officers on duty, increase their situation awareness and also provides excellent information for command and control of the situation.

    We won 2017 Govinsider best Drone & Robotics Award with our Autonomous Wheelchair Project. The chair was entirely developed in-house within GovTech and a POC was conducted with Changi General Hospital. After the trial, the project has now evolved into the Robotics Middleware Framework Project for healthcare.
