“I had the privilege to work closely with William whilst we were both at dnata Singapore. William lead the Training, Sustainability and Innovation department supporting Airport Operations, Cargo and the division I lead, Catering. What first ‘struck me’ about William was his fierce commitment, passion and company loyalty. And, so ‘unashamedly’ I utilised these attributes to the fullest extend for the betterment of Catering. From a Sustainability and Innovation perspective I valued William’s ability to think beyond the norm, look for solutions and set about creating something new and of value. From a training perspective Catering obtained a well disciplined Training Team, lead by William with strict adherence to SOP’s, face-2-face and online training schedules. Williams enthusiasm and commitment towards training was particularly valuable given the speed in which the airline travel industry ‘bounced back’ post COVID. During these early ‘torrid times’ large volumes of new recruits were employed with an immediate requirement to be inducted then undertake numerous mandated training modules. It is only now upon reflection, that I realise this all just happened, ‘on time’, ‘in full’. And so, I direct my last comment to William directly;- Thank you William for your unwavering support and assistance in rebuilding the dnata Singapore Catering division. You made a huge difference and added so much value, this was perhaps unseen by some. Your departure from dnata was a loss of a valuable company asset and for me personally, a person who could always be relied upon. My very best wishes in your future endeavours. ”
