However, we can’t forget that the audience is the actual star of the show - a speaker with no audience is as good as a monologue in the shower. Therefore, the prep work should revolve around what would make the most impact on listeners and solve their pain points. It’s also good to use anecdotes to illustrate points and also use jokes at strategic points to keep the audience entertained and engaged.
