Last night, we hosted another unforgettable evening, unveiling our unparalleled offerings at Synergy of the Senses: A Marina Bay Sands Showcase. The event was a dazzling preview of the elevated experiences we bring to life at Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Throughout the night, guests indulged in elevated culinary experiences by Bread Street Kitchen, Spago Dining Room, WAKUDA, as well as ASEAN cuisine by Marina Bay Sands’ culinary team. Guests savoured the diverse artistry and flavours of our world-renowned chefs, each showcased in their own Synergy Zone at Sands Grand Ballroom. We emphasised wellbeing by dedicating a space to THRIVE, a suite of physical and intellectual wellness experiences curated for event organisers and delegates. These sessions embodied our commitment to holistic incentives, providing our guests an impactful respite that refreshed them. As the night unfolded, some of our most distinguished guests were treated to an exclusive degustation experience at Hybrid Broadcast Studio, offering a teaser of our upcoming Golden Serpenti dining concept next year. Seattle was a blast! CEMA-Corporate Event Marketing Association Summit 2024 earlier this month was an incredible experience for our team. From thought-provoking keynotes to hands-on workshops, we immersed ourselves in innovative ideas that shape the future of events. This year’s theme, Balanced Brilliance, resonated deeply with our mission to offer seamless integration of business and leisure experiences. We were particularly inspired by discussions on Synergy by Design, which taps into the power of mindfulness, as well as Innovative Playfulness, a session that explores how elements of play can inspire creativity. Throwback to PCMA Asia Pacific (APAC)'s Labs in Sydney and Melbourne last month, where Sharon Lam, our Regional Associate Director of Sales (Australia) caught up with our friends after their inaugural The Business of Events conference at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in April. The next time you’re at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, take a pause and listen to the background music. Chances are, you might be listening to one of the hits from local artists Benjamin Kheng, Linying or MYRNE. They are among 40 beloved homegrown artists whose music will be played around the venue, under the I Play SG Music initiative. More artists and songs will be added progressively. The move to introduce local music comes about as part of a three-year partnership between the National Arts Council (NAC) and us. Inked last September, the partnership aims to bring the arts closer to local and international visitors at our resort. The launch of a local music playlist allows visitors to learn more about Singapore’s music scene and deepen their appreciation for local music. While it was a hive of activity with ILTM Asia Pacific on property earlier this month, two of our Team Members Ong Wee Min, Vice President of Sales & MICE, and Genevieve Lim, Executive Director of MICE Management, were flying the Marina Bay Sands flag high at the AIPC Annual Conference in Costa Rica. Lively discussions unfolded over the fundamental question: What does the next generation conference centre look like? The conference was a homecoming of sorts for Genevieve, who was the first Singaporean to graduate from the inaugural AIPC Future Shapers programme in 2022. This program is specially tailored for developing global leaders who will shape the future of the industry. This year, we've taken a significant step forward in our partnership with AIPC by supporting the Future Shapers programme, demonstrating our strong commitment to fostering industry growth and investing in developing future leaders. As part of our support, we are giving AIPC and Future Shapers alumni access to our Virtual Meeting Platform (VMP). This cutting-edge solution allows event organisers to create virtual venues, seamlessly connecting both online and in-person audiences. Earlier this month, we hosted an engagement session to develop future MICE talents. Around 60 students from Singapore Polytechnic’s Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management course visited Sands Expo & Convention Centre for a learning journey, learning about Marina Bay Sands and the dynamic meetings industry. Edeline Khoo CIS, DES, our director of MICE Integrated Services, shared about our innovative Bay Precinct Strategy – how we bring together myriad hotel, attraction, retail and dining partners around Marina Bay to offer planners and delegates a world of bleisure options. She also shared how our venue is not just for meetings or events. Rather, Marina Bay Sands is a venue of choice for many concert promoters, with international acts such as Sabrina Carpenter and The Strokes performing at Sands Expo last year. Engaging youths and growing their interest in the hospitality industry is integral, as we continue to play our part in nurturing a pipeline of tourism talent for Singapore. #MICEMBS #MarinaBaySands
