Job description

Shopware offers retailers the opportunity to raise their business to a new level with the help of our open-source commerce solution. Our customers can manage all services, functions and information in the customer account. The CRM team, which is part of the Operations Department, is responsible for the development of the customer portal as well as for the data structure and data streams that are relevant for other internal applications in addition to the customer account. The connection of the applications to each other is also the responsibility of the CRM team.

No matter where you work, whether on-site at our campus in Schöppingen or fully remote, as a Full Stack Developer PHP / TypeScript (m/f/d) you are an integral part of the team.

These are your tasks:

  • You independently program both the customer account and the data structure, which also serves our internal applications, among other things, and continuously develop these further.
  • You are responsible for the maintenance and implementation of our internal as well as for the connection to external APIs.
  • You carry out code reviews, support the further development of automated tests and ensure the quality of your development, in addition to our Quality Assurance.
  • You will work closely with the other Operations teams and the Product Department, which is responsible for developing our e-commerce software.
  • You will work in scrum sprints and participate in ticket refinement, among other things.

This is what you'll bring to the table:

  • You have already gained solid experience as a software developer.
  • You already have experience with PHP (Framework: Symfony) and Angular (TypeScript) and want to work full stack.
  • Initial experience with Shopware is desirable but not mandatory.
  • You are practised in performing code reviews and testing your own developments before handing them over to QA (Quality Assurance).
  • You want to work in a Scrum team in an agile environment.
  • You convince with your strong communication skills and hands-on mentality.
  • You have a very good command of English and would like to work in an international, English-speaking company. If we could wish for it, you also speak fluent German (at least C1 level).
  • You are willing to travel to the campus in Schöppingen for occasional meetings and events.
