Jean-Noël Barrot is a French politician of the Democratic Movement (MoDem) who serves as Secretary of State for European Affairs in the government of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal since 2024.[1]

He was previously Minister of Digital Transition and Telecommunications in the government of Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne from 2022 to 2024.[2][3]

Before joining the government, Barrot represented the second constituency of the Yvelines department in the National Assembly from 2017 to 2022. He was elected member of Parliament under the banner of La République En Marche! (LREM).[4]

Jean Noel Barrot is a graduate of HEC Paris, Sciences Po and Paris School of Economics.[5]
